Love it
This exceeded my expectations. Ordered as an extra last minute gift for my husband, the packaging was really nice and elevated the look. The board is much heavier than I expected, seems like really great quality and looks beautiful! You can see the seams on the pieces but overall, theyre a nice weight and look great.

Absolutely worth every penny
I hardly ever write a review, and 9 times out of 10 itโs a negative one. This is the rare exception! I have several very expensive chess sets on display In my library, which my young daughters have developed a habit of playing with. I scoured Amazon in search of a set they could play with without loosing or damaging my collector sets. I finally decided on this one and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. First of all it is packaged very impressively and the warranty is amazing.honestly, having a lifetime warranty for lost or damaged parts is unheard of in this day. The board is felt backed and quite nice looking. The surround that houses the chess pieces is quite nice aswell. The pieces themselves are cast metal and all appear to be in very nice shape. All in all this is 100% better quality and value than what I expected. I would highly recommend this set to anyone looking for a high quality looking and feeling chess set.

GREAT gift!
Bought this as a gift for my grandson, and Iโm happy to report heโs smart enough to play and even beat me sometimes. The board arrived well packaged, the pieces are nice and hefty, and it feels like a quality game all around. Makes a great gift for your favorite little smarty pantsโฆ just be prepared to lose occasionally. ๐

Nice Board for the Price
This is a pretty decent board at a decent price. It is not quite as nice in person as I had hoped but overall I think it is a fair value.

ITS BEAUTIFUL!!!!
WE PLAYED A GAME RIGHT AFTER WE OPENED IT. THIS WAS SO WORTH THE MONEY, ALTHOUGH THE GAME BOARD IS A 'PRINTED-ON' DESIGN AND NOT REAL WOOD. (OH WELL), THE CHESS PIECES ARE SOLID, WEIGHTED, AND FELT-LINED ON THE BOTTOM. THE BOX THAT THE BOARD IS SET INTO IS BEAUTIFUL. CHESS PIECES STORE INSIDE, UNDER THE GAME BOARD. THE ONLY THING I COULD not FIND FOR LESS THAN $300-$400 WERE DRAWERS TO STORE THE PIECES IN. BUT THIS IS THE NEXT BEST THING FOR UNDER $80, AND.... ITS BEAUTIFUL!!!!
