Yeah, it's great first project.... but .... I must have done something wrong...lol..... as shown in the attached video.... any "feedback" would be much appreciated... (pls excuse the pun) 🙂

We found instructions challenging but not impossible to follow. It was a fun quest and the clock worked right away once assembled.

Easy to put together but the clock speed is not working properly checked all components and changed the crystal the only thing it could be is the main chip

Intresting kit. The instructions are only for the clock after you have made it, and the diagram on the back isnt perfect. Luckly though the screen printing on the board helps but if you are a beginner its a little harder to understand. Most componants are marks with the polarity however the display isnt, youll need the numbers on the edge of the display to face down towards the CIC chip for it to work. Also suggest cutting the cable for the USB power lead and redoing the ends, they dont need to be soldered just twisted for a better connection. Overall good kit.

Foolishly I did not read the other reviews before ordering. I built the kit and it works except that as others have reported it runs slow. In clock mode it counts up to 60 seconds over a time period of about 2:15, which suggests it probably needs a 27MHz crysral rather than the 12MHz one supplied. I might try fitting one to see if it then runs properly.

my first venture into soldering and it was not that difficult to be honest,i had 1 little problem but got good advice and fixed and is now working as it should.it gets a thumbs up from me

This was so much fun and educational! I managed to build a working clock with the very limited instructions provided and this was my first attempt at soldering. I now feel ready to attempt to repair the baby monitor charging port. 🙌😁

The device works great. Some of the pins had to be readjusted so they fit in the circuit board, but the components seem pretty robust, so that was no issue. It worked perfectly fine afterwards, was a very nice training for a solder beginner like me. Great kit!

Este kit de bricolaje electrónico DIY, está genial para quien esté empezando en este mundillo de la soldadura y quiera aprender del tema. En cuanto a uso estaría bien que se le pudiera poner una pila para que no se pierda lo hora pero todo estam muy muy bien.
