Brilliant! I can turn the things on when not at home so the responsiveness is brilliant! Connection is great! Easy to set up and use! The app is used as the remote and it’s really handy to use.

Once linked into the hub they are very easy to use. A neat way to save and monitor your plug load energy. Price is ok as normal digital timers are around £7, so £8 for a smart web linked is reasonable.

I have many of the earlier Tap P100 smart plugs at home and work which I use for controlling various devices including lamps, indoor and outdoor Christmas lights, air conditioning, fan heater, it equipment. I like the Tapo plugs ascthey are simple, reliable, quick and easy to set up using just a phone with the Tapo app. Best of all they require no hub and connect easily to Amazon Alexa using the Tapo skill giving voice control. They make it easy to turn lights on/off at night without getting up, turning heater on before arriving home, rebooting IT equipment at the office remotely if there's an issue, even controlling from Alexa Auto while in the car. Grouping these in Alexa I can ensure all important devices are turned off when leaving work.simply by saying close the office'. I even installed one at a relatives house while they were on holiday so we could turn lights on and off to make it appear someone was at home - simply programmed at home, plugged it in to heir house and connected to their WiFi - all done and controllable remotely. I like the form factor as I can several side-by-side on a multi-way mains strip, and I like that there is a timer feature too via the Tapo app so you can schedule on/off times, either using basic set times or times based on offsets from sunrise/sunset so they adjust through the year, or even randomised times for security applications. This latest P110 update includes is much the same but now includes a power monitoring function, handy for checking consumption of power-hungry devices such as heaters to help you save money. It's also a handy way to confirm a remote device is actually working at a remote location even though you've turned it on - if it's not working then consumption will be.close to zero. All in all I can't speak highly enough about these simple Tapo plugs - a respected brand, simple, reliable and easy to use. The Tapo range has also been expanded recently to include many other smart home functions, though some require the Tapo hub. As with any product, my only wish would be to make them cheaper, though the price is not bad and very competitive for such devices.

I recently bought the Tapo P110 (2-Pack) and tried it with a few different things: Christmas lights, a dehumidifier, and a few lamps / small devices. Here’s how it’s performed so far: Easy to set up and control remotely — The plug connects directly over Wi-Fi (no hub needed), and setup via the app is simple. Once set up I can turn devices on/off from my phone whether I’m at home or away. Scheduling & timers are very useful — I set a schedule for the Christmas lights to turn on in the evening and off late at night; also used a timer for the dehumidifier so it doesn’t run all night. The schedule and timer features seem reliable, and save me from having to remember to manually switch devices. Energy monitoring is a strong plus — The plug shows real-time and historical power consumption. This helps me see how much electricity my dehumidifier or lights are using, which is handy for budgeting energy use (especially with heating/dehumidifiers). Compact size & good for everyday load — Because it’s small, it doesn’t block neighbouring sockets, which is useful when plugging in multiple things. For usual home/garden devices (lights, dehumidifier, lamps) it seems solid and stable. For small-to-medium domestic devices such as lights, dehumidifiers, lamps or chargers — the Tapo P110 delivers exactly what it promises. It adds convenience (remote & automatic control), visibility (energy usage tracking), and peace of mind (schedules, timers, no need for manual switching). If you’re thinking of using it for festive lights, small appliances or devices you want to run on a schedule — especially with energy tracking — it’s a solid and reliable plug.

I have a whole TPLINK home/office setup which includes CCTV, Plugs, Security and WIFI7. I have bought many of the P100 and P110 sockets to ensure consistency and compatibility system wise. As you may know they have released the P110M. The M range allowing you to connect to additional apps like HomeKit and SmartLife/Things. Anyway, I have had 2 of the P110 plugs fail in the last 6 months. Just coming up to 2 years since purchase. I contacted TPlink customer service via the Tapo/TPLINK APP and website. I have received tremendous support. Lisa has been the constant connection, receiving and responding to my requests. They have replaced the relevant items without hesitation, this includes one fo the CCTV TC82 solar cameras which I bought direct from them. Just requiring that the product was registered on their website to confirm authentication. That is perfectly understandable. So my advice to save time later is when you buy TPLINK make sure you register. You will also be able to see when the specific warranty ends. As different products have different warranty lengths. So. To sum up. TPLINKS are excellent quality, easy to setup and reset, work straight from one TAPO app and usable from anywhere you are in the world. And, most important, after buying and when things go wrong LISA and Customer service are superb. I know some will have not such good experience. This may be a little to do with not registering or having proof of purchaser available. In today’s world we should expect to be able to prove online purchases and the likes of Amazon provide invoices etc. Well done TPLINK .

Easy to setup and works great whether I'm connected to home wi-fi or out of the house and I have forgotten to turn something off. Custom timing intervals are also a great feature.

Very useful device with excellent Ap. Problem setting up at first as WiFi Router is 5gh and the Smart Plug will only connect to 2.5gh. Therefore one will need to split between both and enter this by editing in your internet account and Router set up in order to connect. Having done so, both plugs are now functioning perfectly.

Timer is very good

Product was delivered well packaged and on time as indicated during ordering. The switch was very easy to setup and works well with Google Home.
