TERRO Ant Killer Spray

I know Terro kills ants, but I guess it kills other insects as well. Came across this wasp(?) nest and ran out of normal wasp spray while spraying the entrance. Decide to use Terro against the rest of the incoming wasp. Did a great job against them and since it is a foaming spray, it covers them and they fall to the ground. Also used it on a praying mantis. Did I mention it also kills ants as well. Will upload a picture if I come across a big group crossing my yard to try to reach my house. It says the spray will last 6 weeks, which is great to spray around area where you see ants that tries to enter your home. Price is reasonable and looks like does a good job on any kind of insects you want to get rid of around your house.

I purchased this after checking with my vet about a safe-to-use-around-cats solution to my ant problem. I live in an area that is plagued by ants, usually a couple of times a year. I usually use the Terro PreFilled Liquid Ant Killer II Baits 6 Pack T300 , also purchased on my vet's recommendation, and manage to get rid of them in a week or so. This year, I got most of 'em after 2 tries, but there were a few stragglers. I got impatient. Spritzed around the entry point where the ants seemed to originate. It killed the remaining ants, and I haven't seen a live one since (4 days ago). I didn't use much at all -- really, just a 1/2 second spritz twice -- and they're gone. No strong lingering smell, either. Remember, though, I started with the pre-filled liquid bait traps (2 left out for 1 week; then 2 more for another week), so I think I'd already decimated the colony before using the spray. At the moment, I'm ant-free. And I'm totally sold on the Terro line of ant control products. My cats and I are pleased. (My female cat has a special "chirp" for spiders and ants, different from her "OMG! there's a BIRD!" chirp, and always lets me know when they've made another appearance.)

I have used it multiple times and it keeps the ants out. After spraying, you can see the ants die and sometimes if there more, you will see dead ants on the scene later on, showing that it does keep working after you spray. Now if you have a more persistent infestation, you may want to use the bait ant killers. The one problem is the spray design. When trying to spray closer or if you don't press down perfectly, the spray sometimes doesn't come out well and foams up and builds up at the opening. It's definitely workable but not the best mechanism.

This is a great spray for those nasty red biting ants, spiders, scorpions, etc. I was laying in bed and needed to brush my teeth . Within minutes they are dead. Yeah! I also use at the threshold of the door to keep the bugs out. Works all the time. DONT SPRAY IN THE HOUSE bc the fumes can harm ur breathing. Great stuff tho.

I used this to kill hundreds of fire arts that had entered my house without my permission. In less than an hour were either dead or in hiding. I then sprayed it into their hiding places. After that they were gone. It’s been 3 months since I did this and they haven’t come back,

This stuff works ok, but quick relief of ants, but you won't kill the colony, so eventually they will return. If you're going to use this stuff, here what I recommend: 1) Use this stuff sparingly on the inside. But food grade Diatomaceous Earth is far superior for the inside of the house because it's non-toxic and last forever as long as you don't wipe it up. 2) I like this stuff for the OUTSIDE of the house, but Raid Max works better. Just saying. 3) Find where the ants are coming out of the ground and pour a gallon boiling water / dish liquid soap mixture (1/2 tsp soap) in the ground where they are coming from (colony) 4) You can then spray this area. But since it's wet, I still prefer using Food grade DE to apply to these areas. But yes...the spray does work. It's just not as effective for some applications.

we placed all around the cracks it works as describe only for 6 weeks. we will be doing this again this weekend. I love it bugs literally didn't cross that "spray barrier". in our basement there were bugs every where, everyday i would find a bug somewhere until we began to use this. mind you ive only used it once! and love it, i love all terro products. we have a basement that consists of two rooms small living area big walk in closet and bathroom and it took a while to dry up. I have two little ones the smell was too strong to have them sleep down there. I sprayed it around 4 and at 11 when we got back the smell still wasn't gone. we had to leave windows open until the next day but its still an AWESOME product. Every day I found many many bugs dead on the dried spray. and not once anywhere else but on the dried spray. this absolutely met my expectations!

When I was in college we lived in awful apartment complexes cause they were cheap. And when you mix nasty college kids with awful apartments, you get plenty of roaches, ants, ect. I can't say if this stuff kills pests super easy, but I can say with confidence that when I sprayed this around the bedroom, I never found one insect anywhere in there during my stay. I sprayed in the kitchen around where my food is located and I saw no pests after that either. Either I just hot lucky, or this stuff is REALLY good at keeping roaches at bay. Wish I had this stuff in my other apartment when we had a huge ant infestation!
