Makes drinking delicious coffeeshop style drinks possible at home with the tiniest bit of effort! After years of manual coffeemakers, I wanted a fully automatic solution and when this went on sale, I jumped. It does every part of the process very well, from grinding the beans to frothing the milk, and the result is a very tasty drink. The levels of customization are great and truly make a difference, from amount of milk to number of shots of espresso, and it's very convenient that it asks if I want it to remember my settings.It holds a good amount of beans and water, and regular cleaning is easy. I haven't had to run the deep cleaning yet but given how thoroughly the machine walks you through every process, I'm sure it'll make it easy.It's not cheap but for me, it's well worth it. I work from home and now I can have truly high quality coffee drinks to get me through my days.

I been using this machine every morning for about two weeks and so far it make my coffee routine much easier. I like that it grind the beans fresh each time, the taste come out rich and smooth most days. The milk frother also do a nice job, my cappuccino get a thick foam and even oat milk worked better than i expected. What I enjoy most is pressing one button and just waiting a minute or two. The iced coffee setting was surprizingly good too, which is nice now with warmer weather. I played around with a few grind settings, took me some tries but once I found what I like, it stayed pretty consistant. Cleaning is not difficult, the removable parts wash easy and the auto clean feature help alot. It is a bit bulky on the counter, not gonna lie, but for what it does I can live with that. Anyway, reminds me of coffee shops back home, just less waiting in line. the grinder and biler is a bit noisy specially for very early morning, but overall not a big deal. another thing it that the machine sends notification to empty the train which is good and avoid leakage. overall I would say it worth the money

FANTASTIC Machine. My wife and I debated long and hard over whether the DUO was worth the price. We've had it now for a couple of weeks and we're both thrilled that we made a good decision. It's very ease to learn to use and we're having great fun trying out new coffee recipes. The 'cold brew" recipes are very good and my wife ha been very impressed with the quality of "drip" coffee even when choosing to use the machine to grind the beans. I don't understand why three extraction options aren't more readily available on more machines, but DeLonghi has a winner at a price point that is competitive.

I’ve had this machine for almost 3 months and can say I am highly satisfied. Coming from having a Gaggia Brera for many many years, this is a true upgrade in reliability, as well as convenience with the milk carafe. Water reservoir is larger, as well as the bean storage.One of the main attractions for me was that the milk carafe for the magnífica plus is 100% dishwasher safe. The other machine components seem easy to clean and maintain also. Certain ones are also dishwasher safe while others aren’t but they are labelled on each part.The personalization of espresso strength and length of shot, as well as milk texture and volume is a huge bonus. I will say it takes time to dial in the grind size to your liking, but once I got it a month or so in, it’s been wonderful ever since. Overall, I am very happy with the magnífica plus and think it was a great investment.

It presents physical and control features well considered, and arranged to offer ease and pleasure of use. Cleaning and replenishment is not a chore with this device. The Evo Next was designed to encourage coffee brewing rather than just look pretty.Whole weight is substantial enough to suggest quality and to maintain its place on a counter, yet the Magnifica easily slides around for access and cleaning.Evo Next size is substantial enough to minimize refilling of water and beans, and to limit cleaning to a reasonable frequency. Height is suited for fit under upper cabinets, using a good compromise of storage capacity versus easy access. There is adequate clearance to refill the coffee bean hopper from above, while providing for many cups before replenishment.The water carafe seems small, yet it is well considered by being tall and deep enough to hold a full container of water from my Zero Water pitcher. Front access is the best choice I have seen among coffee brewers, and this design slides out easily yet feels substantial and of a precise fit. This feature is indicative of good design choices.The drip tray and grounds hopper are located together in the best location possible for easy removal to empty and clean.Upon purchase a few months ago I removed all the components to inspect for damage, fit, and familiarity. Packing was substantial and the machine arrived in tact. All the components seem durable and substantial, and fit tightly and precise, while being easy to access. Upon removal of the Brewing Unit from the right side access I was impressed by the quality and fit of this principle assembly. This component is indicative of high quality and good choices by the Engineers involved in this design.I have owned many coffee makers of all tiers and this is at the top for a residential machine.The burr grinder feature was a prerequisite for me to consider this machine. And it has not failed to impress me these past months. I set the coarse of grind once and have found no need to change that setting. The Evo Next grinds as does my counter-top Burr Grinder, and gives repeatable results. The noise level is not a factor when beans are ground, and the reservoir is large enough to limit refills to perhaps twice a week, even with our frequent use.I find both the Ground Hopper (my term) and Drip Tray to be easy to clean, and I do that routine daily for good housekeeping. The grounds go into a bucket for composting, and the container is rinsed out with warm water then dried with a paper towel. Removing the two top plates of the Drip Tray is easy enough and a daily rinse is part of my routine, with a light soap wash once a week to keep it from becoming slimy.I have yet to clean the water carafe, but that should be an easy task. The carbon filter was replaced once so far and that is a simple matter.I drink nothing but Zero Water filtered water, and as such the Evo Next considers our refills as 'soft' water, so far precluding descaling. Although the Zero does not remove Calcium or other minerals they are stable in the water and will take forever to precipitate.Overall it is a pleasure to use and maintain the Magnifica Evo Next. We now drink more coffee than before, and enjoy it to a higher degree. We benefit from direct grind brewing like any good barista offers at a coffee shop. And we can prepare a wide range of coffee and latte drinks with ease. I've owned and used conventional latte machines and while they are fun the amount of work required to brew at home discourages frequent use. We use this De'Longhi more often than any other coffee brewer we have ever owned.

I was so apprehensive in getting this machine . I am a simple machine user when it comes to coffee. It was easy!! And they make such a big deal about the noise??? Well it’s not that loud unless you have a noise sensitive baby I’m your house. I simple love it!! And it took no time to master. I enjoyed learning

I’m such a coffee drinker and my biggest dream was this De'Longhi Magnifica Evo full automatic espresso machine. The experience itself is magical. This machine is literally premium , also looks so beautiful in my kitchen without taking so much space in my countertop . The setup process was so easy with book guides and the video. The instructions were so easy to follow. The most interesting feature is the grinds fresh beans for every cup, which makes each cup aromatic. Also it’s fully automatic so you don’t need to replace any thing to between a grind the beans and receive your espresso !! The torch controls are very simple to use , and I really liked how its offers many coffee drink options and hot water just in simple torch button. The milk frother works very well and creates such a smooth creamy foam . The cleaning maintenance is so easy and remove the water tank is very quick process. I’m really impressed and in love with my new coffee machine with a great tasting drink everyday . Definitely its one of my favorite kitchen appliances . Its drive you a cafe quality coffee but at your house . Such a great one and used friendly machine.

I was so excited to receive the machine - makes great coffee. All of a sudden it kept going to milk drinks and you had to exit out to get all drinks. I usually make coffee so this was extremely annoying. It then started flashing between Milk and Coffee drinks (the light below those) and you had to clear out. Then it no longer lights up with you hit either. Due to it being purchase just over 60 days I now had to go directly to DeLonghi and their support is horrendous. We did some troubleshooting and it was determined there is a bad computer / communication board and it needs to be sent in. I then receive email I will receive a box with instructions and I received an empty shipping box with label, padding but no instructions. I wanted about a week for instructions to be emailed and never happened. I am packing it today taking to fed ex and hoping for the best. For a machine over $1K and having these type of issues in less than 90 days it should be replaced and they should refurbish this machine. Thankful I saved by Moca Master coffee pot in the event of issues or I would have no coffee pot for 2 weeks minimum. Very disappointed and regretful I ever purchased.

Tengo esta cafetera desde hace 2 años y sigue siendo de mis mejores compras. El café sale recién molido y el sabor es increíble, tanto que ya casi no tomo café fuera de la casa porque nada me sabe igual.También se puede usar café ya molido si prefieres, pero la diferencia de sabor es notable, el grano recién molido en el momento le gana por mucho.Trae un accesorio para hacer lattes y capuchinos que quedan deliciosos. Yo personalmente no lo uso, pero es una función buenísima cuando tengo invitados.Lo único que no me encanta es que bota un poco de agua al inicio y al final de cada preparación. La rejilla se llena rápido, así que yo le pongo un platito extra para recoger el exceso.Un consejo, si donde vives el agua es dura, vas a necesitar cambiar el filtro y usar líquido descalcificador con más frecuencia. Yo uso versiones genéricas (no las de la marca) y funcionan exactamente igual, así que no es necesario gastar de más ahí.En general, la recomiendo mucho. Después de 2 años sigue funcionando perfecto y el sabor del café sigue siendo la razón principal por la que la amo.

Eureka! I have arrived in fully auto, bean to cup maker nirvana. In the past few weeks I have used other machines by Siemens and Phillips, and the De'Longhi Magnifica Plus is the clear hands down winner. The quality of the coffee of the Magnifica simply can't be beat, and that is the most important factor when comparing machines in my mind. Ease of use, clean up, etc. also factor in, but not as important as taste. That said, De'Longhi does a good job on these other fronts as well.First, on the quality of the coffee... the Magnifca shines above the rest for me, as the strength of the coffee you can produce with this machine is highly adjustable, with a great top end range of making an excellent strong espresso or Americano, that the other machines can't quite get to. Even using the double shot function, the Phillips just didn't make the rich full bodied shots that the Magnifica can pull off with a single pull. A nice creama, and what I would bet is equally as good overall taste as any auto machine out there. The pucks from the Magnifica look the way an espresso puck should... highly compacted, that break apart cleanly between the fingers if you want to examine the aftermath.The milk drinks shine as well with this machine. It is capable of creating a rich and thick foam milk froth, with a highly adjustable frother (for those who might like things on the thinner side and as the case may be for certain drinks). I like the notion of taking the entire frother and putting it in the fridge for your next drink. It feels like a good system, and after a couple of cleanouts, I can say I am very happy with overall ease of use with the Magnifica frother.The on screen menus here are intuitive. Perfect for our family of 4, and so far it seems people are willing to take the step of changing the profile to get to "their colour". I have admittedly mistakenly started the brewing process before adjusting the parameters a couple of times (as you can do with the Phillips). Once I am used to this though, it will be nice... a one touch of the screen in my profile to start my fave drink according to my saved parameters. A nice feature too is that the machine remembers which are the most recent drinks you have made, and moves them to the start of your selection menu.I'm happy to be off the disposable capsule merry-go-round, and the coffee here simply looks and tastes better than anything other auto machines (of all varieties) can give you

Hay muchas ofertas en el mercado en cuanto a cafeteras se refiere, después de estar viendo características, comparaciones, etc., de muchas de ellas me decidí a adquirir la De'Longhi magnífica Plus, muy satisfecho con mi compra y en verdad que es un placer de disfrutar un buen café, desconocía que cada bebida se prepara muy diferente (pensé que solo era hervir agua y poner café y ya), pero no, existe mucha diferencia entre un café, un Long, un americano, en fin, muy satisfecho con mi compra.Gracias.
