This pressure switch was not a direct fit for my compressor. It did function properly. I did have to change the terminals on the wires from a blade type to an eyelet type. The port to the switch is mounted pointing to a different direction than my previous switch. I had to fabricate a new pressure tube to fit. I didn't consider either one of these modifications to be a big deal.

I purchased this for a Speedaire 3Z424. The location of the pipe connection at the bottom was not centered like the original and replacement required removal of additional items and tight tolerances to the compressor pulley. The install was made very difficult because of the close proximity to the belt and compressor pulley. Having the wire entry points on opposite sides (previous one had them on one end) made it necessary to locate one cable between the belts and required a right angle connector to avoid contact with the belt. I would not purchase this again for that particular compressor. BTW no instructions were provided.

Seems to be of good quality. Exact replacement for my 30 year old Campbell Hausfeld compressor.

May have to do some plumbing Switch wasn’t exactly like mine so I had to build a new line for the bleed off valve
