Great for mounting my cell to the windshield, very strong hold

Mounted a Garmin eTrex to the windshield of the Jeep during a week vacation to the UP of Michigan, since cell service can be, spotty. Even through some nasty trails, the eTrex proved invaluable and the Ram Mount never lost suction or moved where it was stuck. It can definitely handle larger devices than a little pocket GPS , so buy once and cry once.

Works great in my semi even with all of the rough roads i travel on.

I have been using these for a couple years for my YouTube channel and boat. It has never let go. I've converted all of my GoPro and Tactacam mounts to Ram mounts and really appreciate the ease of use for just the right mounting angle. I loved the suction cup mount so much, I bought another one for my 2nd GoPro last week and put it to use on the boat for a second angle. Midday while fishing we heard something hit the gunnel of the boat and a splash. The mount had let go and sent my GoPro Hero 4 silver, Sennheiser mic, large dog bone GoPro connector and suction cup mount to the bottom of the Atlantic ocean! It was mounted about 1.5' from the gunnel but pitching seas must have been just right when it let go to not fall into the boat. (There may even be video of it on my second cam!) I've never had a failure with the first one, and didn't expect this one, plus being what I thought was far enough from the gunnel in case something happened. Needless to say I am very disappointed, and out close to $500 for what I paid for everything. They generally seem to work great but DO NOT fully trust it! If you use this anywhere where there is any chance that a failure could cost you your gear, make a lanyard and tie it off!

I bought other products that were two to three times the price of this one and this one has outlasted the more expensive products I highly recommend this product it stays on the windshield it holds very tight and easily removable

Awesome product I mounted in my drove and drove like a banshee in the logging roads and didn't even budged an inch. As long as the surface is flat its gunna stick and it has ridiculous suction I can open my freezer with it

I cheaped out on a few phone holders and finally had enough with flimsy junk. Got this RAM suction mount and paired it with some other bits and wayyyyy better. Solid, doesn't come randomly unstuck, easy to use. Save the hassle, buy the real deal RAM product from the start.
