NOT A PAID REVIEW.... WOW—FOR REAL! This has been an incredible time and money saver for me! It's paid for itself in the first couple of items shipped. The value in this is genuine in every detail. It takes A LOT to become an Amazon Basics product, especially in accuracy of quality and last(durability-Low Returns). This Scale and it's features are no-brain power simple and dumbly intuitive to use. After looking at a what seemed like the same or close to this, I went with Amazon Basics, and also due to the sheer amount of weight that this can handle. Then there's the QUALITY of it that not only looks nice, but you can actually feel it. Metal plate - It's sturdy, firm in fitment to the base and clearly well made in inspection and feel. I like the packaging so much that I kept it and store it in the original packaging that functions as a case for safe containment and protective storage. You know when you're looking at something online and it's hard to discern if it's going to meet the description and claims, but you also wonder whether YOU are also going to feel that way. I'm not skeptical as a rule, however, I don't appreciate people hyping things up when they're not worthy. Time suck - This is my first scale that I have ever purchased for doing shipping items and it's exactly what it looks like in the pictures, it's the exact size that it is listed in the description, and again the ability to just plug it in and not need to read a book to learn the functions is such a relief! I sincerely RECOMMEND this scale. The Tilt Stand works nicely and cables are long for each so that if I need to ship something VERY large, that I will have no problem getting it set on the scale and being able to clearly and easily see the large numerical LED Screen from a distance. I did mention that it's It's durable, and stupid simple to use and does what I need it to do over and over again - give me correct weights accurately no matter how I change the orientation of the packages that I have placed on it. Believe me, I really wanted to know so I can get the best rates possible on shipping without having to "round-up," to the next pound, when I can now round-up to the next percentage of an ounce. Already saved me hundreds in over postage/carrier rates. Stop Looking!~ Get on with the next decision at hand and get THIS one!

It works fine for a cheap scale.

I am very pleased with this scale. So much so, that I have bought two of them. In preparation for a move using PODS shipping containers, I have been able to weigh my shop tools so I don't exceed the shipping container weight limits. I compared my weight on these scales to what I weigh on my home scale and they were the same.

Excellent scale for the money. We use it everyday

Using to weigh hay. Tare my container then add the hay to the desired amount. 28 meals per day and So far so good. Keeps the tare better than the one I tried last. Like that I can use AAA batteries instead of 9V but miss plugging it in. I don’t feel comfortable with a USB power cord as there is dust in the barn. I have the platform covered like I did with my old work horse that finally died after 5 years. Hope this lasts.

Thoroughly satisfied with this digital scale. I purchased to determine trailer tongue weight. But also, the scale is thin and can be used to measure corner weights of lighter weight cars.

Easy to use

Initially bought it to weigh a small trailer, but find it useful to weigh camp gear, pets, baby, vegetables and anything I used to hold and weigh using my bathroom scale. It has the zero function which eliminates the extra math required. Like that it can be powered using a usb (wall outlet, power bank) or battery. Hope it stays calibrated.

Test Scenarios Boxes: Weighed 50-80 lb loads repeatedly before and after packing (~1,500 lb total). Furniture: Got a creative setup to weigh my couch. Personal Use: Stepped on it as a regular bathroom scale. I no longer have a bathroom scale due to this thing. Key Features Dual Power: Runs on USB or AA/AAA batteries (still on the same set since September). Remote Display: Detachable screen lets you read measurements without squinting, or without worrying the box or luggage is in the way. Aka. no more standing on a bathroom scale with and without your luggage before travelling. High Capacity: Supports up to ~660 lb—far beyond a typical bathroom scale. Performance and Reliability Consistency: Readings matched exactly even months apart. Sadly, not my body weight. Battery Life: Same batteries lasted about eight months of intermittent use. Accuracy: No noticeable drift or variance under repeated loads. Price: More expensive than standard bathroom scales, but if you ship a lot or travel a lot, it is worth it. For others...it depends on your use case. Versatility: Ideal if you want one scale for bathroom, shipping, shop, luggage, and moving tasks. Portability: about the same as any other scale. Admittedly it worked well on thicker carpet too, because of the flat base. Verdict: If you’re packing up for a move, shipping large items, or just want a “bathroom scale on steroids,” this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended for anyone who needs a single, reliable scale for light and heavy-duty weighing alike.

I've used this for anything from small parcels to sofas and it just works. I hate the plug in since the USB is so easily detached but with batteries this thing just works no problem. Small form factor and an easy to use read out. If only it was a little cheaper. Oh well!
