Works perfectly only problem for me price

First 6 months brilliant. Thereafter stops connecting every few days, meaning resetting and reconnecting to Eve app and HomeKit. Latest software and new batteries. Today failed to connect completely. Given up and asked Eve for replacement or refund. Amazon thankfully said they’ll step in if Eve fails to provide right support. Let’s hope. Wouldn’t buy again.

Work straight away. No hassle. I know you have to have good 2.4ghz WiFi for IoT devices, so I didn’t suffer from poor connectivity that others have cited. It does a good job of being easy. Some discovery on scheduling required via the Eve App - no scheduling immediately available in Apple HomeKit, but that’s to be expected

Because it is battery operated, when it turns off your HomeKit system won’t know and it will show that it’s been watering constantly. Flowrate has to be entered by hand. It easily added 2 shortcut to pause the watering, but they only work when it’s currently watering. I’ve added my home location and hopefully set it not to water if there a 50% chance of rain

This is the third one I have bought to automate my garden watering. I now have one for the grass, one for the plants and one for a general hose pipe. Two of the units are scheduled to turn on at certain times for certain durations. They have all been reliable. I had a little trouble with range however since adding more Eve products around the home and garden, their connectivity has improved.

When it works, it works well enough. But the whole point of this device is that it can be controlled remotely and my experience is that it cannot be relied upon. I have a Bluetoot/Matter/Thread border router right next to the unit - literally 1m away from it and the device spends most of its time disconnected from HomeKit. Removed and replaced by something more reliable. To be avoided.

Simple to use either manually or using the Eve app or Apple HomeKit. Bring it inside in winter and it should last you years. The Eve app is great to track watering activity and even shoes my other smart stuff. Batteries last ages. Thread attachments are robust enough for the job even with stiff irrigation hoses attached. Just wish they did one with two outlets to water two zones independently

Easy to program, integrates into Apple HomeKit but has a significant problem with longevity. Functionally it’s extremely good, the interface is simple and it works extremely well. Unfortunately this, like a few other of Eve’s products, struggles to be robust in the face of the environment it’s installed in. I’ve gone through a number of these, but each of them tends to only last about 1 year before they begin to leak and fail. It’s unfortunate but given the price I’d expect it to be far more durable.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Parfait !

Eerste exemplaar was na twee maanden kapot. Vervangend exemplaar heeft het twee seizoenen gedaan en werkt nu (derde jaar) ook niet meer. Van zo’n product verwacht je dat het langer meegaat. Zeker als je het maar vier maanden per jaar gebruikt.

L’ho comprato e lo uso da un anno. Lo trovo perfetto. Ne ho usati tanti diversi ma questo non mi ha mai dato un problema. - Consuma pochissima energia (le batterie credo di non averle finora mai cambiate e l’autonomia viene mostrata nell’app in modo da non avere brutte sorprese quando si parte per le vacanze) - il sole e le intemperie non l’hanno rovinato (la plastica su altri si deteriorava) e i materiali sono ottimi compreso l’attacco idrico - la programmazione con irrigazione all’alba e tramonto e la possibilità di metterlo in pausa se ha piovuto è perfetta: le piante non vengono irrigate se non serve e a orari sbagliati con il cambio dell’ora legale/solare. Io l’ho impostato con altre irrigazioni aggiuntive per l’estate, notturne e di breve durata e le mie piante non sono mai state così bene. - nessun imprevisto in vacanza come altri irrigatori automatici la cui batteria si cuoceva al sole anche se alloggiata all’interno. Lo consiglio a chi ha tante piante e vuole avere un irrigatore affidabile! Compatibile solo con iPhone.
