Awesome dual fuel camp stove
I bought this in November of 2018 with no real expectations. It's still running strong and has become a camp necessity. I've used this to make everything from Ramen noodles to lobster tails. One of the best features is the adapter and base for using 16oz propane bottles and smaller Isobutane bottles. Major benefit because you can find propane bottles just about everywhere. To give you an idea of how quickly this boils water, I ran a test with propane vs isobutane. Water temperature starting was 72F. Propane brought 2 cups of water to a rolling boil in 1:48. Isobutane brought the 2 cups water to a boil in 2:04. The good: Starting from the bottom, the bases fit snuggly to desired fuel bottles. It might seem a bit top heavy when using the bigger bottles but the feet on the base are appropriately sized. The burner is designed to fit the isobutane tanks, so a provided adapter makes the 16oz propane usable. The pot locks into the burner with a slight twist and fits nice and securely. There is a foam wrap around the pot that allows for safe handling when hot. There are measuring marks inside the pot ranging from 1 to 4 cups. The handle locks into place and stays cool to the touch. The lid has a single small perforation vent that also works as a strainer. Simple twist activated gas regulator and push button spark works with a single push. Easy to clean surface. All the components can be packed inside and locked with a small latch. The bad: The travel case that comes with unit is pretty much useless. Doesn't come with a pan support. The spark electrode moves around and can fall out. Overall, I think this is a great economical alternative to a JetBoil. I think its well-built and will last many more year.

Very happy with this kit!
So we decided to buy a multi fuel stove for car camping and emergency use at home. We have a few stoves that are iso-butane exclusive backpacking stoves and they were a saving grace during the snows of 2022-2023's winter as we went without power for a while, but these allowed us to still cook hot meals. We have a few dozen of the green propane canisters stored, but our stoves at that time could not use them and so we had to rely on iso fuels which are about double the cost. We chose the Stryker as it can use either of the fuels we have and could not be happier! The unit comes packaged with everything needed to consume either fuel and the kit is somewhat compact (we bought the 200 which is 1.2L). Small enough for bike packing, but might be a little big for the way we back pack. With a 450ml ISO canister, the stowed kit weighs in at 875gr (31oz). Not the lightest, but not excessively heavy. The burner's performance is good. There is a hot spot right in the middle (typical for many Chinese stoves, "premium" stove tend to have the flame evenly dispersed), so cooking will require pretty constant stirring. We tested it boiling a full liter of water to a roll. On a green propane canister it boiled the liter in 4m15s. We are happy with this, it will boil a few cups of water in about 2 minutes. On ISO fuel, it took a little longer, 5m30s for the same liter from cold. Both of these trials were with a light breeze (2mph) on the back patio of our ranch, 4100' altitude. The system should be able to cook prepared foods decently. We were able to get the the burner down to a medium simmer without it going out with both fuels. Regulated stoves are better at this, but there is no reason I would not want to cook a soup or stew directly in the pot. Just be ready to stir your cooking start to finish to prevent scorching at the hot spot. Overall construction, fit and finish are nice. For anyone with an MSR or JetBoil system, you will likely see less refinement, but functionally it is solid. The pot to burner fit is good, solid locking and simple. Having used the two premium systems, I can feel that the Stryker is a little looser and "gritty", but it works fine and it is just a little less smooth. Not a big deal. I would recommend this stove to those seeking a decent system that can serve a few roles.

Less than a Jetboil and works just as well
So first off, this is my first experience with this type of gear. I've included several pictures to help explain how it works and how it differs from other Camp Chef models and other brands. The one major difference is the size. Jetboil Zip (pictured) is 0.8-liter while the MS200 is 1.3 liters. For individual backpackers, that's a huge difference. The MS200 capacity is between the Jetboil Flash (1-liter) and Sumo (1.8-liter) stoves but I wasn't able to compare overall size. This model can use Isobutane as well as Propane and that is accomplished via the threaded adaptor and extra tank stand. Propane bottles have a different way to connect (thus the adaptor) and the base of the tank is different (thus the different stand). As to whether you need Isobutane or Propane, I'll leave that to the experts but the short answer I found was that isobutane is more efficient and works better in cold conditions while propane works better at higher elevations and you may already have a tank from your other stoves. The Camp Chef stove has a built-in ignitor which is a great feature not found on some other brands. The handle is very sturdy and the lid is easy to remove and replace. Assembly and storing is just as easy as with the Jetboil stove and noticeably less expensive. However, Camp Chef does not have the color changing indicator but you know it's boiling when it starts shaking (rolling boil will do that) Since I was only using it to boil water I can't comment on the sensitivity of the flame "dial" but hopefully will be able to follow up in a couple of weeks after my next trip. I'll also see if I can compare it to another Jetboil model. I've included "storage" photos to show how it all fits together but I think the Propane stand (and isobutane tank) would work better turned the other way around.

Excellent performance per weight and cost
This stove fits perfectly into the 1-1/2 liter pot and overall weight is very good. The stove lights easily and it burns really hot in a small area, so the pot flanges can focus that heat into the pot (instead of wasting it). The specs are correct that it'll heat 2 cups of water in 2 minutes. The foam around the pot and the lid hold the heat in well. It's really handy to be able to hold the pot by the foam, though the handle works great too. You can crank the flame wide open or shut it down to a light simmer with good control. It comes with two stability bases - one for each size fuel cans - large for 1 lbs propane and small for butane. I only used the large base and it didn't hang onto propane base well at all when I lifted the whole unit by the tank. But it held the stove well when set down so that's the most important part. Only other negative is that it's loud at full-burn, but that means it's working. NOTE: The company says you will need the $30 adapter to cook with ANY other pots/pans, even theirs.

Excellent & Sturdy for camping
Waited to write my review after I had used this a few time for camping. Super sturdy. Great size. I really like being able to use the green propane bottles or other fuel sources. Heats up water and foods very fast. Packs away easy and saves a lot of space. Love it.

Great price and better product than Jet Boil
I like that this has the propane adapter and is larger than the more expensive Jetboil brand. Overalls quality exceeds my needs and expectation.

Good value, good for 2+, propane adapter hard to get in
The propane was tricky to get on. At someone's advice in the Q&A section, here is what works: hold the little adapter in your left hand, the propane bottle in your right hand. Push down on the bottle while turning it. There is a bit of leakage, but it works. What's it not- a 1 person , small ultra light backpacking stove. It's not as wind resistant as some. I have not achieved the advertised boil times- maybe because I have used it outside in February . What I like about it- it's great for day hikes with a few teens or for a cheap meal on road trips. It's bigger and cheaper than most. I like the sturdy handle that doesn't get hot and the insulation that won't burn hands. The lid that doesn't get overly hot, seems sturdier than most, has a nice drain hole.. It's compact and easy enough for a responsible teen to use. It's great for hot chocolate, Ramen, instant mashed potatoes in a sturdy microwave safe zip loc bag ( hint - use potatoes chips to scoop mashed potatoes ), tea , a box of mac and cheese - that sort of thing. Works great for these things. It also simmers better than many, even tye more expensive ones.

Another awesome product from Camp Chef
I bought this stove to keep as a backup in my truck. I have used other stoves that sell for a higher price and this is just as good as Jetboils. It will heat ice to boiling water in under two minutes. the entire stove tucks neatly into the pot. If you need a great backpacking stove, this is the one for you

Just a good as a jet boil
Works awesome, weโll constricted. Consider a Jet Boil but this is as good of quality with a better handle in the pot.

Easily Comparable to the jet boil.
Wicked little stove. Compared to a friends jet boil and this little unit easily compared to the jet boil with the same features and usability. Workman ship and durability is great too. Everything packs up into the pot for easy compact storage. Ordered stovetop/simmer plate seperate and works awesome as well and still packs up into pot.

Works but only with that specific pot
It works great for boiling water. Canโt put another pan in it thou or else it snuffs the flame and it goes out. Packs up very well though.
