Performance Tool W50003 3-inch Portable Mini Bench Grinder and Polisher with Flexible Shaft and Accessories, 120W, 0-10000 RPM

I have used this little bench grinder for a couple of months now and I have to admit that it is working better that I expected. I have had no issues with using the grinder itself or the cable driven remote Dremel style wand. Turning out to be a great little grinder for the price.

Terrible item...just returned mine to Amazon - Apply any pressure to the grinding wheel and it stops. Motor does not turn on till the adjustable speed control is at half way position

Well satisfied. It is smaller like I wanted and doing the work we bought it for.

I haven't really used it yet. Looks good but this is the second one as I returned the first one as non-working. Turns out I made the mistake of reading the operating instructions before I tried it. They said to plug it in & turn it on & off via the RPM control. Didn't work so I returned it. Turns out there is a power switch under the left grinding wheel switch that isn't mentioned. When the second one did the same thing as the first, I finally decided I must be missing something & found the unmentioned switch. I guess they figured no one could possibly over look it except old curmudgeons who expect the instructions to be explicit. Just saying maybe switch should be mentioned somewhere in operating instructions.

I like it ok but for light jobs !

Returned first grinder because it was used and full of paint/caulk (image #1). Received the replacement grinder and it contained the same paint/caulk...either the same one I returned or another used one. Will not order from The PERFORMANCE TOOL STORE again!

Lo único que no me gusto fue que el chicote de esmeril de mano se mueve constantemente haciendo que deje de girar la fresa , lo solucione colocando un tramo de medio centímetro de un cabo para que calzara y no se estuviera recorriendo el chicote , de ahí en fuera todo muy bien

Excelente esmeril de banco portátil con la opción del cordón flexible para trabajos muy especiales y de difícil acceso.

Soo, turned it on, and was VERY underwhelmed.. Wont even spin-up at ALL until turned up to at LEAST 50% (5000rpm?), and even at 80%, could easily stop wheels with my finger. Also, the inner shaft of the extension tool is too short, so it wont even spin the tip, and center of connector to grinder is bent at an angle (grinder side), so it will wear out/snap within a few uses! Then add the insult of missing manual/adapters/shields/wrench/bits, and this was a wasted purchase. Quality control is obviously an issue here, and looking more and more like I received an "open box" item! Wish I could give 0 stars, but on the good side, the wheels seems decently centered and true, it DOES spin up (but has little strength once any load applied) and if the shaft was usable, I'd likely have given a much better review!
