Itโs worth the money. Craftsmanship and weight for the best equilibrium

Feel cheap, but great for display...
I love this set, they do feel cheap but great set for display... I had to glue all 3 bottom pieces, but the price compensated for the minor hiccup... Love the carving of dragons on the wood... they look legit...

Way impressed, and such a nice looking set at a great price! 3 piece awesomeness!
Edit to add to original review...and the reason for 1 star less than perfect: After my original review, where I got so caught up in the excitement, I realized only later that the swords are not the same as the product picture, so they sent me the wrong model, slightly...? What I found was the following: The handles on mine are all black underneath (See my uploaded pictures)...no rayskin or immitation (original product picture shows tan or white color under the wraps. Also the metal on the ends and collars/guards in the product picture are a darker bronze/gold type color, and the etching in the scabbards looks similar bronze/gold color too, *which I prefer from the one pictured in the product preview more than what I got...which are a silvery/brush-nickel appeearance*...also, there are white lines in the wrap material, unlike the product picture. Still cool overall though. Here is my Original review before realizing the differences: I finally bit the bullet and got me some katanas after wanting one all my life, though mostly as a kid...dreaming of being and playing as a ninja. Dream fulfilled (Well, on equipping me with the primary, ideal weapon of those dreams anyway...as the playing ninja is over...the sought after iconic swords are now to admire in display, on a budget) So, for the price, these swords are far better than I can imagine is cost to make them (considering each piece and of fabrication and putting each together, along with even a decent steel blade for each), even if they're not top quality. They look awesome, feel solid...and 3 of them! Come on, that's only about $12 per sword! They are great for display, and maybe for a little mock swordplay. I would feel reluctant to hit a solid piece of wood with them, but is quite a temptation. They are not sharp, as expected, but have a simple, dull edge. The tips seem pretty sharp-pointy though. The swords each feel solid enough, and the scabbards look very nice and feel decent (again, excellent for display and for the price). The scabbards, which shining a flashlight inside, I can see are wood, not plastic. Not too sure of the sword handles, but I believe they should be wood. A piece of plastic seems to be only just inside the entrance/neck of the scabbards, which is fine. The plastic piece apparently makes for the securing fit for the swords when sheathed, without being too tight. They slide out and lock in place well. The scabbards have the etched design in them, not a sticker...they look well done and add a lot to the esthetics. Also, slick black color (more of a semi-gloss than extra glossy, which is better than glossy, in my opinion; and the wraps on the handles and scabbards with some white lines in the wrap material also add to the overall slick look. Feel pretty comfortable in hand too. The stand (painted black as well) this set comes with is basic but does stay up barely with all 3 swords in it. It would be nice if the base of the stand was a little wider on the bottom to be more stable, but I really can't complain. It has a nice couple of gold colored characters on it too. Good for appearance too. I found minimal issues with scuffs or scratches on the swords or scabbards. They are in great shape. I wiped off excess oil and small amounts of sawdust to take a good look. The packaging this set came in was quite sufficient too. I am also very impressed at the shipping speed. I got it several days earlier than expected, but maybe also due to the time of year, holidays. Kudos to the seller for that, with free shipping! (EDIT: Adding to this part as an edit also: The seller apparently sent me a slightly different model, not the one pictured here on the posted Amazon product preview...see top of this review for more detailed edit, and check out my uploaded pictures to compare) My family was also impressed and all had fun posing with the swords like ninjas. Good times! I am excited to finally own a katana...oh wait, 3 of them!! (even if the smaller is more of a dagger, but is the same style of the largest and medium ones). Great for the budget shopper/introductory owner. Again, especially when factoring the price for all the good characteristics of this set, I can't imagine anyone being unimpressed by these, at least with the set I received.

Saya damaged, not good to display.
Product for its price is good. However, I have to return because it came with a damaged paint at the saya. No damage was observed on the box, and this indicates that no quality control before shipping. It was a dismay because itโs supposed to be a gift for myself.

Ment for viewing
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother, he loved it. Of course, it's edge is blunted.......which is just fine for display.

Just for show
Soft steel. Blade bends and dents easily. Even on cardboard. I've used aluminum flat bar that was harder to bend.

The largest sword was not fastened to the handle properly and was loose and not straight.

The stand is extremely light with little support to keep it standing. The small sword had something fall off (dont know what) when I was unwrapping the hilt. The long sword is extremely loose and am afraid it will fall off the hilt from just sitting there

And it come without a stand. The box looked like it was thrown all over the truck just glad it's not broken
