I needed to take several hundred pictures of some oversized materials for a project that required me to lay them flat on a table and photograph them directly above them with my phone. This stand clamps to the table and is fully adjustable to any height and angle, and when it's set, you can use your phone's camera repeatedly without it going out of alignment. The stand's clamp is padded, so it won't scratch your table, and the arm adjustments are solid and won't move until you want them to. The phone holder uses spring compression so it firmly hold the phone by the sides, but isn't so wide that it prevents you from using the touchscreen. Most products of this type use springs to adjust the height and angle, but I found that the springs are always too tight, they don't allow for fine adjustment, and go out of adjustment easily, making it necessary to fiddle with the thing when you just want to get on with what you're doing. The arms are held in place with screw tensioners and they stay in place. If you just want to set it up and get on with your work, this is what you need. You pay more for a design like this, but it's well worth it just to avoid aggravation.

Got this mainly to hold a phone/camera over my desk and it works pretty well. Easy to adjust and the arm stays in place once you tighten everything. Feels decent quality and the different angles make it useful for videos, desk work, or even showing things on camera. Took a few minutes to set up but nothing complicated.

If the tightening joints were sturdier, this product would be far more reliable and versatile. Delivery was on time, and the product arrived in good condition. While this stand has potential, it could use a significant improvement in build quality for the tightening mechanisms. It’s functional for lightweight setups but may not be the best choice for users requiring heavy-duty performance.

Very sturdy

Ordered on February 17, 2024 and received on the 20th. Started using on the 21st. Today only 5 months later it fell apart and cannot be fixed! Terrible design poorly constructed. The part that holds the phone is only held on to the bolt by a tiny flimsy amount of plastic apparently. The plastic snapped and the phone fell to the tabletop. At least it didn't fall far, but it should have been falling at all. If they sold a replacement adapter would help, but still, it should have lasted for more than 5 months with infrequent use. :( Picture 1 = the clamp and the tiny pieces of plastic that were holding it to the mount Picture 2 = the bolt that it broke from, there just wasn't a substantial enough amount of material to connect it to the bolt.

It's no longer if any use. Broke down after few uses. Low quality product adaptor for holding the arm. Please look for a better option. It's just waste of money.
