made my job significantly easier
I got this to perform a transmission drain and fill service on my 2009 Honda Accord. If someone has already performed this task, they will know that the most difficult part of the job is removing the splash guard held together by push-pins and then putting them back - there are a bunch of them around the perimeter of the guard (10-12 at least). Using this tool, I got all of them intact and put them back too. If you are doing it for the first time, you might struggle - I struggled more putting the first push-pin back than pulling them out. But, once I got the hang of it, the others were easy. You need to be patient since you are working in a cramped space underneath the car. Many people got frustrated trying to remove the splash guard and decided to use a knife to cut open the guard, which will later cause more problems in the future - I am glad I got this tool and did some reading before I attempted the job. Getting the job done like a professional makes me feel proud and also the fact that I know it has been done right gives me a sense of satisfaction. if you care about keeping your cars original, then this tool is worth the investment and I know I will be using this in the future on my other cars as well.

Great auto and UTV pin pullers
Amazon has two different style pin pullers. This is one of them and they are excellent. This is my 2nd. In one car, to replace a tail light which is on the trunk lid, a textured beauty cover is installed to hide the wires and latching mechanism. It is held in place by push pins and this easily removes them without damaging them. I got this one to leave in the trunk.

Serves it’s purpose
The tool works as it supposed too, most of the time. It is a bit awkward to use at first but I got used to it after using a few times. It doesn’t work for ALL clips, so keep that in mind. Besides the minor inconvenience of it not working with some clips, it sure makes the job a lil easier.

Dual action
The item works as described and I've used it several times. Recently, I found another use for it. I was cleaning my transaxle and needed to remove the shift keys. Because both have to be pressed and removed at the same time I did not have enough hands so I used the tool to press both shift keys down and they easily slid out. I am glad I bought it. a good value for the money.

Works.
Works great for those little push pins. If you need it, get it, as this will work. It is capable of getting under the heads of pins that attach panels to cars but do not have a head to grab. A screw driver and work but this tool puts stress on both sides of the pin head and generally keeps the pin to reuse. Acceptable workmanship.

Very good. Some notes
I originally bought lisle 42810 to remove the plastic push pins that secure all the covers under my 2021 toyota highlander. Well made product, but not the right tool for this job. Then went and bought these pt w86561 push pin pliers and they worked perfectly. NOTE: do not try to grab and pull the center pin with these pliers. Instead, push down and squeeze after you align on the edges of the center pin. The wedge style of the tips will create a force to push the middle up without actually pulling. Wish that was explained better on the packaging. Took me a few tries to get the form right, but now i can do it every time with no damage to the pin after i align and squeeze correctly.
