My van stays under a carport. This does an excellent job keeping all critters from the wires and engine. Even Ferrell Cats! And it smells good too!

The scent is light and doesn't have a chemical odor. The large container is easy to lift and use as a spray. My Family used the smaller bottle as a gift and they are pleased with it. So far, in the past three weeks, there hasn't been any rat or mice damage. After losing $650 in rat damage, I am happy to buy a jug of Grandpa Gus's Rodent Repellent Spray. Still up in the air on this. Squirrels ate the wires in my car even with an ultrasonic rodent repellant. They ate those wires first then ate the car wires. Smart little turds. The dealership suggested this product. Got it and used it the day I got the car back. Went out the next day and there was already a nest started. However, the nest was not finished and no wires were chewed. I have sprayed everyday for the last 3 days and so far, so good. Only time will tell.

I sprayed this around my car on the garage floor, along the base of the garage doors, on top of a counter and work bench. Keeps the mice away. I respray every 3 days. I live out in the country. I have had trouble with mice getting into my car. Keeps them away. I also use Grandpa Gus's rodent repellent pouches. Put them under the hood of my card and under the seats of my car.

Product is effective and works. Need to spray kitchen cabinets approx once a week, around my cars and under the hood. I live in the country and lots of critters around. The reason I rated low is the sprayer doesn't work. This is the 3rd year I have purchased. Thankfully, I still had some left so just swapped the sprayer out. If your sprayer doesn't work, maybe need to pour into a different sprayer container. Never had this problem before.

This is a pretty big jug of peppermint essential oil mixed with cinnamon that is easily sprayed on your plants, siding and baseboards to encourage the pests to go chew on something a little bit more to their taste. It washes off after a heavy rain and will need to be reapplied, but so do most things. The smell is WONDERFUL. I have a small water heater closet that the rodents love to go into during the Winter. They pee there and the rat urine smell is bad enough even after we get them out of there with all sorts of traps and deterrents. Grampa Gus sprayed in that little closet really makes the rat pee smell disappear and the rodents don't seem to want to hang out there much anymore either. I use it all over my attic spaces to keep the squirrels under control. You have to spray it right on the place they are chewing on but the problem is they will just go chew on another spot... but at least the poo they leave behind doesn't stink anymore and if you spray enough places, they may just go to the next house.... wishful thinking I am sure since I live on large acreage and there is no other close house. Does not bother my dog or my husband.

I purchased Grandpa Gus's Rodent Repellent Spray (Natural Peppermint & Cinnamon Oils) after noticing signs of mouse nesting in a few of my vehicles. After applying it in the engine bays and around areas where I saw nesting signs, I stopped seeing new activity. No fresh droppings, no new nesting material, and no chewed insulation. That was a big relief. The included sprayer makes application easy and allows you to target specific areas without overusing the product. Overall, it smells great, is easy to apply, and seems to do what it claims. I’ll definitely keep using it for preventative maintenance on my vehicles.
