UTG OP3 Micro, Red 4 MOA Single Dot, RMR Footprint

Easy to install, good brightness setting on it, nice size to it, and feels like fairly good quality given the affordability.

Mounted on a WE G17 MOS airsoft. Easy install with perfect fitment. Working great so far. Zeroed and holding. Dot is ok, glass is ok. But for the price it exceeds my expectations. I have no idea how long it would last on a real pistol.

This is a really good budget friendly red dot I wouldn’t recommend it for your everyday carry but I am using it as a 45° back up site on my AR and it’s perfect for that

If you’re looking for a holosun, buy a holosun. UTG makes very good products and this is no different. It doesn’t have a shake awake capability so I wouldn’t use this on a concealed carry gun, but it is built solid and sturdy. I have it on an AR-9 and it holds a zero very well and works as I expected it to. The battery is located underneath the sight base so it requires you to remove the sight to change it. The tolerances are pretty snug though so it shouldn’t be off very much at all when you put it back on.

So I bought this with the thought in mind that utg is a decent brand and I have had good luck with them before. And to be fair this wasn't all bad, all functionalities worked and it felt well built. Even on the top the brightest setting it seemed to work okay, also held zero on a 9. But any setting other than the brightest 3 a line would appear on either side of the dot, I tried to get it in a picture. Decided to return and purchase something else.

This is a piece of.....wait, let me explain. It appears well made. Metal housing -- bright dot (out of the box). Mounted right up with no issues. First shot with 9mm---the glass window cracked. 2nd shot---glass window fell out. Don't waste your money!!!!!

Good little dot for the $. I mostly use holosun and primary arms but wanted something cheap to put on an ar15 mounted at the 12 o’clock position on my 1-8x primary arms acss. Works great for that.

Just an FYI for those who didn't pay attention to the listing like I didn't. This does not have "shake to wake" and will stay powered on. While it does stay on for a while, it absolutely 100% does not stay powered on forever and will auto shut off after an unknown amount of time. It does stay on for a while but randomly when I have gone to use it the optic has been powered off. The battery life in my experience is not great either. I replace the battery in this more than I do in any of my other RMR optics. I keep it on the second to lowest setting as well to try to maintain battery life. The build quality however is quite high. If you're looking for a crisp optic that maintains zero on a dedicated range gun then this is good. There are better "shake to wake" options though. In order to use this as a dedicated range optic I power it on when I unpack and power it off when I pack back up. This is the best way to keep battery life and reliability I have found. Would I buy it again? Resounding no. Is it a good optic? For it's declared engineering specs yes. But I caution against the battery life declaration and lack of auto off. If mine is broken then so-be-it. But my experience is that it is not a good optic compared to others in the industry.
