West Chester 12018 Chemical Resistant PVC Coated Work Gloves: 18" Length, Size Large, 2 Pairs

I PURCHASED these for SOAP making! First off to anyone looking for that same reason DONT BUY THESE they are to think at the finger tips to do anything fine with. I am still giving these gloves a 5* as I am not that reviewer to purchase something without reading first then leave a bad review because it did not suit what I wanted them too. Over all the gloves are very sturdy, thick and come up high enough to reach my elbow. I am 5'8 so not really short in leg or arms. Really good gloves but not for someone working and need to hold 'small' objects such as for what I need it for. however with all this said I will still use these gloves just for when I am outside and I mix my Lye and Water and change to smaller disposable gloves for other parts of soap making.

Yes, the world of artificial insemination is a most interesting place. Using the oversized pitot tube filled with a bull's "genetic code" (glad I dont have that job, what do they put on the IRS 1040 form under Occupation?), this handy and reasonably priced set of gloves allows me to make sure The Package Is Delivered to the "right place" without having my lower arm looking like I was an extra in the original Ghostbusters movie or on that show from Nickelodeon. While I haven't tested these gloves against acids, bases, ammonia or the back seat of an Uber or Lyft taxi ride, they have seen some dark places and have held up to the task while allowing me to maintain some degree of dignity at the laundromat. Good product, good bargain.

These gloves seem like they are going to be good for what I will be using them for(cleaning a commercial kitchen griddle after heavy cooking usage on a daily basis and clean a commercial deep fryer with caustic chemicals) The only complaint I have is that the “one size fits all” is quite large for my liking, which makes it difficult to hold the tools I use to clean my equipment. I do like the length of the gloves, they cover my whole forearm and then some. Hopefully they will hold up for longer than a few months!

I admit that I am an average-sized woman with average sized hands, but these are a bit big even on my much larger husband. I love that these are slick and the bleach solution that I am using to disinfect items that come into our home during this pandemic just sheds right off. The other chemical resistant gloves that I was using had a more granular finish that seemed to allow the bleach to degrade them over time, so my hands ended up getting irritated. These are very, very slick, which makes it a bit harder to grasp small items, plus they are built for someone with hands the size of Frankenstein. That is a plus if your hands get sweating, because you can get these off. So, while these are a bit bigger than I would like, there are way too many pluses to keep me from using them. The shed chemicals like no one's business, clean up easily, and they cover my forearms completely, so if I bump something, my clothing is protected. Very pleased with these gloves, although I wish they were offered in more sizes.

Great all around gloves for house or shop work , for chemicals and other tuff jobs.

These are useable bc my husband is 6'2 and 210lbs but they are still huge on him... An average sized person would really have a hard time. They also smell REALLY bad. But I'm using for a Halloween costume and I have time to leave them out, hopefully the smell lessens with time. They get the job done for the costume.

These gloves have held up to their claim to be chemical resistant. I have used them to make 4 batches of hot process soap and they have kept my arms from getting burned by the lye. I'm a large guy (wear an XL shirt) and these gloves cover up to my elbows which is very nice. Unlike some other chemical resistant gloves, it's easy to wash these with soap by hand before taking them off. I have also used them to remove VERY HOT Brisket, Whole Chicken, Pork Shoulder, etc from a smoker/grill and they have kept me from getting burned. While they are not rated for high temperature use, it is nice to see that they have enough quality of material and craftsmanship to accomplish that temporary task. I highly recommend these gloves.

Bought these for a cosplay/costume. They are nice gloves… but I since found other ones offered with white cotton gloves inside for about the same price.

kept my hand clean on a ugly situation

Not very resistant, more prone to punctures than other brands I've used. Probably great for home use, anything more you should look elsewhere.
