USG Matrix 10" Stainless Steel Taping Knife

I’m very pleased with the USG Matrix 10-inch Stainless Steel Taping Knife! This knife feels solid and well-made — the stainless steel blade is durable and stays smooth even after repeated use. It spreads joint compound evenly and smoothly, which makes finishing drywall seams so much easier. The handle is comfortable to grip and doesn’t slip even when my hands get dusty. I also love that the blade is flexible enough to get a nice, clean finish, but still strong for tougher spots. It’s simple but high quality — exactly what I needed for drywall taping and finishing. Great value for the price and a tool I’ll definitely keep in my kit. Highly recommend if you want a reliable taping knife that performs like a pro!

These are the best stainless steel taping knifes I have found; no bolts to rust or clean, more ergonomic design that what is available at the local big box stores. There are better smoothing blades by TapeTech, but these are great for the first coat, and getting mud on the wall. Notice how you can grip the handle closer to the blade than any other design; that is what I mean by ergonomic; better leverage.

I have been finishing drywall for 30 yrs plus. These USG Stainless Steel Matrix knifes are as good, maybe better than the wooden handled Wallboard or the old Ames featherlite . I will use these knifes as long they keep making them. Sign - The Drywall Guru

Feels great in my hands, blade tension is perfect. Doesn’t slip in my hand even if the handle is damp.

We use drywall knifes everyday this knife is so thin definitely not going to hold up very long feels very cheaply made very disappointed with this purchase!!
