Barbara's Bakery Puffins Original Cereal, Non-GMO, Vegan, 10 Oz Box (Pack of 6)

If you've never had Barbara's puffins, this may not be the ideal way to try them, since you'll get 6 boxes for something like 5 dollars a box. Barbara's isn't always easy to find, particularly since they stopped carrying these unflavored ones at the grocery shop I usually rely on. What you get is a relatively unsweetened cereal that everyone in my family seems to like. It's good for kids in that they like the taste, but it doesn't have many added sugars. Sometimes I'll have it, too, and it's really not bad. It tastes a bit oaty with a bit of bran 'flavor.' The cereal has a fair amount of air and is pretty light. If you really want oats and a bit more solidity/density, Barbara's makes another similar cereal called Oat Crunch that's a bit more like something that Quaker would sell. I buy in bulk mostly because of the supply issues I've encountered in my regular grocery stores.

Best cereal in the world, I sure hope they never go away. Only thing I eat!

Like others have said, I received only one box when it says quantity of 6 in two different places. It's a great price for 6 but a terrible price for 1. I would think by now they would have changed the product information with this many complaints.

I love this cereal. My local grocery store has been out of it for months, so I decided to buy in bulk off Amazon. Cereal is the same quality I used to get from the grocery store, but the packaging sucked. 6 cereal boxes were stuffed into a box that was the wrong size. So the boxes on the end were mostly crushed. The 4 boxes in the middle were squished a little bit, and I’m not too excited to see how crushed the cereal inside is going to be. I might end up canceling my subscription if Amazon can’t figure out how to package the boxes into a shipable box they fit in.
