Bought these for my 01 express 1500. I bought a crate motor 5.7l years ago and new transmission. It has been sluggish. Put these plugs in and woke my motor right up. I went to pull out of my driveway and normally I have to step on it to get going, I did a burn out with no problem. I will never use another brand, NGK is the only way to go.

These are great plugs. I usually work on Japanese stuff and since I'm always happy with NGK, I decided to get these for a GMT400 1999 Chevy Suburban with the 5.7 Vortec. The 60 tho gap is recommended by GM, but I was chasing a misfire issue and ended up lowering these to 50 tho to be a little easier on the aging ignition system. These plugs are so efficient they actually made the misfire worse since all the cylinders are actually trying to fire now. Anyway, after throwing all the parts at it, my main issue ended up being the distributor rotor. But the old girl did desperately need plugs and these have been working very well for a few thousand miles now. They have a perfect brown mark on the edge of the porcelain as one would want. Long story long, very happy with these. Don't be afraid to put them in a domestic vehicle.
