Missing part . The latch assembly arrived without the pin and as such the old pin had to be used. The bracket holed were slightly smaller and the pin wouldn't go through. Eventually, after some struggle , the latch was fitted. A 5 minute replacement job took nearly an hour.

Attention ! conservez bien la tige d'origine, celle que j'ai reçu était trop grande et empêchait de refermer correctement le compartiment. Sinon la pièce principale pour remplacer celle qui était cassée est parfaite.

Super easy replacement, fits perfectly, seems to be same material as factory, so I expect it to last just as long. For a few bucks, this is worth the money to get rid of the floppy console issue.
