Word Roots Level 1 Workbook - Learning The Building Blocks of Better Spelling and Vocabulary (Grades 5-12)

The book itself is great for continuing my morphology lessons with students. Also, provides activities that are semi-challenging. I have one complaint, and that’s against Amazon. The book arrived with something spilled on it. It wasn’t enough to return but it was noticeable.

Excellent book for my 7th grader to practice vocab and spelling by roots, prefix, suffix. I like that each set of words gets practiced over many worksheets, in a variety of different activities.

Just purchased. Looks amazing can’t wait to use with my homeschoolers!

I really like this product for my middle schoolers. I would order it again and use all levels.

My boys really like these type of workbooks. It was my first purchase from The Critical Thinking Co. and I'm now hooked on their curriculum! The price is okay; I do wish their curriculum was a bit cheaper but it's worth paying it to me as you get a thick workbook that helps teach your child about prefixes, suffixes, root words, etc.

We homeschool and use these workbooks in between the days we use Michael Clay Thompson’s Caesar’s English

This series is my favorite for etymology for middle school and early high school years. Just enough practice and usage activities before moving on to another set of words. Very easy to understand. My daughter can work in this book independently.
