Junjo Romantica: Season 1

Fortunately, for THIS product, they have not stated in the product description that the Blu-Ray is dubbed in english. As this is correct, i will give them 5 stars, but i must make clear, as there are reviews for this product stating that it has an "English Dub" It does NOT have an English dub! Perhaps some people need educating on what dubbing is: A DUB is when the AUDIO LANGUAGE is "DUBBED-OVER" In a different AUDIO LANGUAGE. Actors are hired to speak as the characters on the screen. If done correctly, everything is seamless and the film or show looks almost like it was originally made in the new language. A SUBTITLE is when the AUDIO LANGUAGE is TRANSLATED and written IN TEXT at the bottom of the screen. No actors required. There is no "Dubbing" in this Blu-Ray, or I believe any, version of Junjo Romantica. In my opinion it may be because the subject matter of junjo Romantica can be considered too controversial for the english speaking world. All in all it is a great Yaoi series. I just wish I hadn't gotten my hopes up in buying the other seasons. All of THOSE Blu-Rays State that there is an "English Dub" as well as "English Subtitles". All Blu-Ray series just have English Subtitles (no dub), and I believe that's all we'll ever get with this series.

what a great yaoi series. it was so funny and i loved all the relationships. especially Akihiko and Misaki. Misaki always loves to run away from Akihiko but he really wants him. and Akihiko is so narcissisitic but in a good way. he really cares for his friends and loves Misaki. and their love scenes are great. funny and sexy at the same time. they are not explicit but u get the idea. my other favorites are Hiroki and Nowaki. Hiroki is so afraid of showing his feelings and loving anyone. plus he's so focused on his career, but Nowaki made him see that he needs love and can accept it. I just love Nowaki. he wont give up on Hiroki. and they never seem to communicate correctly with each other. they are always misunderstanding each others feelings. especially Hiroki. it just too cute. i cant wait to watch the next season. this is such a great series.

The product itself arrived in a good condition, and by that I mean the case and it’s contents were unharmed. The series overall is good. It has like 36 episodes total in the series and is completed at this point in time. It’s definitely more geared towards adults and for people who like yaoi themes. It definitely contains plenty of romance and drama if you like that type of thing too.

For those interested in getting into the genre of Yaoi, nothing beats Junjo Romantica for its sweetness and humor. Season 1 (based faithfully on the popular manga by Shungiku Nakamura) introduces viewers to the trials and travails of three couples, the main one involving Misaki, a non-too-bright eighteen-year-old college freshman, and his unlikely lover, Usami, a famous and successful novelist who has zero life skills. Together they embark on a touching and often hilarious journey together that will bring both laughter and tears. If you like your romance "pure hearted," then this series is for you.

I loved this series and found it quite entertaining. Very enjoyable and humorous moments. It is centered around a boy/boy love coupling. If that is something you are not interested in, then this is not for you. I very much liked this, one of my favorites when it comes to BL in my anime. There are a lot of innuendo moments and some graphic scenes. Mostly the story lines is what I liked the most for each different couple, held my interest.

Love this series. This series started my yaoi manga addiction. Its funny, lovely, emotional. I just wish Misaki would be more truthful to himself in regards to his feeling to Usami. To bad amazon no longer carries the books on prime.

Absolutely amazing! Blu-ray arrived in perfect condition! And it was wrapped securely too! So thrilled to have finished my collection! Would gladly buy from them again

パソコンや映像機器に、あまり詳しくないので、見られるのか不安でした。 自分はNECのノートパソコン使用です。 北米版で、日本と同じく、リュージョンコードAでした。 ただ、このままだと再生されませんでした。 リュージョンコードと国コードがあるみたいです。 国コードは、パソコンの設定で日本になっていたものを、アメリカに設定したら、再生出来ました。 アメリカに設定したままで、日本のブルーレイも見られてます。 なんか不思議？ とってもシンプルで、かさばらずに良いです。 内容は元から好きでしたが、日本版は高いので、配信で何度も見ていました。 不意に、これを見つけてしまったので、直ぐに購入しました。

Absolutely loved this. Even more the second time around. Great Quality. Enjoyable characters. If you like this genre it's a must see. Getting season 2 :)

Staffel im I-Net ([...] sorry, will net spoilern XD) ang'sehn (natürlich auf jap. mit engl. sub ^^) und ich frag mich nur, WARUM man hier des Rating (sprich FSK auf 18??? o.O) <.<' soo hoch g'sestzt hat??? Immerhin wurde es aus Animefreak.tv auf ein Rating von "Teen 13 +" g'setzt und des is meiner Meinung nach MEHR gerechtfertigt als des Rating HIER >.< ich mein, EH halloo? geht's noch??? In der Season 1 war jetz absolut NIX, das so ein Rating verdient hätte (und wenn ich sag NIX, dann mein ich, man sieht ja auch NIX detailiertes oda so XD) is also mehr shounen-ai/comedy etc ^^ -> Ergo, FSK 13+ hätte völlig ausg'reicht. Ich hab jetz ABSICHTILICH NIX über'n Inhalt verratn, da es ja noch Leute gibt, die's villt. noch sehn wolln ^^ Ich sag nur soviel: EXTREEM süüüß x33
