If you're on the fence about buying these, here are some things you should know: FIRST: These are obvious factory seconds/rejects. Not so defective they shouldn't be sold, but they should not be advertised as quality items either. GOLD: The finish is poor, with lots of bare spots. These bare spots make the gold dull and dark, especially on the edges, so they look worn. Some have rough edges. A couple were quite sharp. There are multiple charms that are missing stones. The indents are there, but the gems are missing. Some are not finished, for example the inside hollows on the snowflakes are partially filled in instead of being a clean opening. Some are just wildly defective. There were 19 golds that are unusable. ENAMEL: For the most part, these factory seconds are not as obvious, unless you know what they should look like. I've bought enamel charms in some of these exact patterns and the difference is striking. The edges are duller, and the enamel is much thinner, meaning they aren't as glossy and some of the metal shows through dulling the colour. Side by side these ones are not very pretty. There were 21 enamel charms too defective to be used. IMAGE: The cat on the top is from this listing. You can see under the belly that some gold is missing, making the finish dull. Note the thin layer of enamel. As you can see, it is so thin the metal underneath is seen as a shadow in the center of the head and along the body. This makes the pink dull and not a true pink. So, value depends on what you are using the charms for. If they are for your personal use, for girl's parties, junk journals, etc., then sure, there are lots of charms, and you're sure to find ones you love. If, however, you are buying these for a business, I would advise caution. At first glance they might seem great, but if you look at them closely - as your customers will - then they aren't so great. There were only four duplicates -- so if you want to make earrings, look elsewhere. Personally I found them disappointing and not worth the price. Does that help?

These were good for the price. You get a lot of charms. The majority fit into these categories: - hearts, stars and moons (not a huge number of each) - Christmas - animals including lots of birds, butterflies, turtles, owls, elephant etc. - lots of trees, keys, crosses and crowns - lots of hands. I am using them for bookmark charms so the assortment is ok but do not thing I will use more than about 10-20% of them. Some are very large with others being too small. Nice gold colour and the ones that are good do look great.
