Is this really a 110v output like the description says? Im looking for a 110v input and 220v output.

This VFD plugs into a 110 outlet and puts out 220 volt 3 phase power. I am currently using it to run a 3 phase 220 motor from a 110 outlet. Be aware that using a VFD to power your motor from a 110 outlet will reduce the HP output of the motor.

Where do you find a 110v 3 phase motor? That would only be 55v on each leg. It would not run on any standard 3 phase power available in this country a

an ac drive induction motor is what these are made for in 3 phase.

Is it possible to install an external paddle switch?

I believe the paddle switch has to be installed before the unit to enable the paddle switch to work.
