Nice heavy duty

These brackets meet or exceed all required specifications for use with lumber, metal and Unistrut. They do their job quite well, and can be screwed into wood with 5/8" lag screws. Very nice and sturdy hardware and can be used with high confidence. Five stars!

These seem to be pretty well made. They’re consistent and clean cuts, surface treatment. Could be a tad thicker but they seem to be strong enough for the task. I’d not put primary structural duty to these like a full gusset but for attaching things to an extruded aluminum frame they’d be fine. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size in these but I ordered a second set that are the right size and the only complaint I have is these t-nuts will have to be fed in from an open channel end. They cannot be slipped into the channel from the face like some with leaf spring or ball bearings can. They simply set in the bottom of the channel centered and you can thread a bolt in and then pull it into the interior face of the channel to tighten the bracket to it. This is fine as long as you plan accordingly or can access the ends of the channel at any point. Just keep that in mind. Regarding the brackets themselves, they have a good clean surface finish. All brackets are uniform and cleanly cut. No chamfering or filleting of the edges other than the interior radius of the bracket. They’re not going to cut you like an uncleaned edge but they are a pretty clean cut that’s sharp enough to scratch if you graze an exposed corner roughly. Bolts and nuts thread pretty nicely. They start well and seem to be constantly milled. The metals are of different material and there’s maybe .3-.5mm play in the bolt/nut when not tightened so the threads aren’t perfect but it makes getting them started pretty easy. When tightening them down repeatedly I can feel a little possible break down of the thread material. It shouldn’t be a problem unless they were repeatedly removed. When tightened they are a solid set. Also the Allen key has a good interface with the bolt heads so it doesn’t feel like they should strip easily. All in all, I’d say they’re a good value. I’d like slightly better threads and especially a way to roll them into channels directly though.

Not cheap but very thick and strong! I reorder ed more because they work great.

Not a dimensional match to standard 1-5/8 strut 90 degree fitting. The correct dimensions are asymmetrical legs with one of them 1-5/8 x 1-5/8, and the other leg 1-5/8 x 2+ inches. This one is 1-5/8x2 on both legs. It means that you cannot use the fitting in some orientations and still keep the connected strut faces flush to each other, which can lead to the struts skewing / pivoting about the bolt since they are not fully constrained. Also, as others have mentioned, its not the standard 0.25in thickness, which means you can't use standard 1" or 1 1/4in bolts with the half height channel. Overall disappointing clone of very simple OEM bracket. They just needed to copy a piece of bent metal and failed. I give 2* because at least it has the correct hole size and one of the 4 dimensions is correct.
