Split Beam Torque Wrenches

This is a high quality tool for the price. I am not a professional mechanic, just a weekend warrior. This tool works well for all of my home automotive work and for the work on my Harley. I liked it, so I bought a 1/4 drive Tekton as well. Time will tell how they hold up, but I am impressed so far.

Im kind of a fan boy. So take it with a grain of salt. It is what it itsn its inexpensive and does what it does. Lol. I needed a tq wrench to fit in tight spaces in my work environment. Gets inside presses and gets the job done. Lifetime warrenty full send.

IDK, My Proto 3/8th's torque finally gave up after 20"ish years wanted another but being a C O B decided to try this Tekton cheepie for my driveway mechanic work, 1st impression build Strong heavy lil piece, Snap=on esthetics, respectable test data enclosed ,Cons =Dial adjustment wheel feels like a Chinatown $20 Rolex winder very cheesie, I don't have a means to check accuracy other than to compare it with my 1/2" Proto Torque wrench, there are videos comparisons online that include this brand for comparisons

I like this tekton split beam it's crafted nicely and for the most part feels sturdy. It's accurate with in plus or minus 4 percent. The one part that doesn't feel sturdy is the clip that locks in torque feels a little sketchy. It hasn't messed up it and other than that I recommend trying it. Also, it's fine tooth torque wrench that is actually greased so it's really smooth.

Never go wrong with purchasing Tekton

Bought this torque wrench to tighten mission critical internal engine fasteners. Didn't want to take a chance on some no name brand, non-certified bit of cheap kit. Glad I bought it. Very easy to set and use. You can feel the click through the handle and it is so loud that I thought I had snapped a bolt the first time I used. Very well made tool, feels great in the hand.

Long enough for 100 Nm that I need. Very perceptible click. Flexible head is a bonus in tight spaces. It does look a litle bulky in photos but is not.

This is what started my love for Tekton tools, everything is well designed and top quality. I didn’t realize that these only ratchet clockwise but no big deal

This is my first split beam torque wrench, after my cheap princess auto one finally fell apart in the middle of a brake job. The weight and finish of this product definitely feels significantly better than what it replaced. The audible click and ping sound when its hit the desired torque value is significantly better as well, and the added plus of not having to set it to the lowest value every time it's stored is nice. My only gripe with this torque wrench, is the dial to set the torque value is difficult to set to desired number at times. I find I have to turn it back and forth 2 or 3 times and lock it, then double check to ensure it's set to the right value.

Haven’t used it much but not regretting buying I’ve been a lawn mower mechanic for 10 years and never used a torque wrench Figured it’d be cool to have one just in case
