As a DIYer, I’ve got an all the basics. I have 3 pairs of the traditional wire strippers - all old, cheap traditional pairs which barely work anymore. Working on a new project with about 50 wires that need to be stripped and ordered, I wanted something that would be fast, time saving and more versatile. This exceeded all expectations. Quickly strips wires in one squeeze without needing to make multiple passes, or twisting around. One squeeze and it is cut and stripped. Works flawlessly every time. Great tool!

Works as it should. Detects open circuits easily. Winding wires becomes quick, and is effortless. This is a must have for any electrical work. Replaced several tools. Excellent buy!

Great tool, it feels heavy duty and worked as expected, the way it cuts the wire is incredible, its amazing how this tool make your life way easier and how precise is the cut, i really really recommend it, its feel really comfortable on hand not tood heavy

These are great wire strippers and doing work on my Christmas Lights Show recently I stripped hundreds and hundreds of 16 and 10 AWG wires and it saved me a. ton of time from using manual strippers. I had to knock off one star because the wire length guide (which was not explained) is terrible. You really need to keep an eye on it because the even pushing on it with the wire can move it and you will all of a sudden be stripping a different length. I would prefer a lock down screw to fix this guide in place. As it is it's a cheap plastic piece with a spring and very loose tension. Fix that and you got a 5-Star tool!

I've used strippers like these in the past, mostly for automobile wiring. I purchased these to aid with custom lighting modifications on a job that we recently sold, and was most impressed with the functionality of this wire stripper. Especially for use with stripping a 3-conductor flat cable with 20gauge conductors. Did not tear the insulation off the conductors under the cable sheathing. Two of my apprentices were intrigued and each purchased a pair. If it provides a clean and functional result, without causing issues, and increases efficiency, it's a tool worth keeping in the tool bag.

Big Time saver and very easy to use. line the wires up and your able to cut and strip without any hassles of various tools. I had to rewire a whole house well pump system and this saved so much time. Clean cuts and accurate on gauge size. I highly recommend this for Home use to large projects.
