I needed a convenient way to make an AV cart height adjustable. The cart had a series of holes drilled in the upright supports, presumably to have bolts installed in them. Why not make the entire top adjustable like a pool pole where you just depress the button and extend the sleeved adjustable support? I bought these to do that, and they work great for my unconventional purpose. If the spring clips in my kayak paddles ever break, I have 4 to use for that, where I'm sure they'll work just fine.

Essential to have in your spare parts kit. We drove an hour to paddle down the Flathead River in Montana and two of our springs for our kayak paddles were busted. Having spares on hand saved the day. Make sure you get the correct size for your gear. We plan ed ahead and these were a perfect fit for our Aquaglide paddles.

Easy install. Very inexpensive. Used these stainless steel clips to replace the rusted out carbon steel clips on my gazebo.
