Hey Bill. I get it. Vine reviewers are hard to trust. But look. I'm a dude in Nebraska doing my thing. I don't get paid by Amazon to do the reviews. I get it though. I've seen some of those trash reviews that come up that sound canned and generic. So you can choose to read my thoughts on this or not. But I thought I'd go ahead and take the time to do so only because I like this water bottle haha:

Overall, I'd say this is a 4 out of 5-star water bottle. I liked it better when I first got it, but once I started going out with it, I realized just HOW BIG this sucker was. It doesn't fit in any of my cup holders. Not in my big 'ol Dodge truck, nor in my tiny Subaru. My truck has pretty massive sized holders too, so that should say something. I go to the gym, and it doesn't fit in those cup holders either. It's just so big. But that's about my only problem with it. If you have smaller hands, I can see how this could be an issue with gripping it or walking around holding it with one hand. The lid DOES have this little metal loop thingy that you can carry it by, but it kind of wears on your finger if the bottle is full if you do it for more than 10 minutes or so. Easy for little jaunts, but not a serious way to carry it. It's also pretty easy to open. I use the metal loop thingy to help apply force when I'm turning it. If that broke off, I could potentially see it being difficult to open. The lid is thick enough, so it SHOULD be able to withstand the forces of it.

It's really sturdy as well. The bottom of the bottle says it's stainless steel, and I'd believe it. It's also got a straight screw-on lid. No sip thing or straw is available. You remove the lid and you are greeted with a wide opening for your water. Not an easy task to do if you're driving down a bouncy road! I find this bottle works best sitting on my desk at home. It DOES NOT leak either. I've been pleased with that because I'll wake up in the morning to find my cat has knocked it over or something. No water was left behind! Yay me, because it's usually sitting at my computer desk! I tried to make this my day-to-day water bottle, but it's just too much. Now it's solely on my desk. This style of water bottle is great, but I'd try to find one with fewer ounces if you want something to haul around with you day to day.

No it does not. It is only single wall so it doesn't retain hot or cold. Its more of a lightweight water bottle for everyday use.
