Love, love my cat clock. This is my third one. They seem to not last too long? But I hope to always have one in my kitchen - it makes me smile.

The reason I gave this a 4 is because I think it is over priced. It is very cute and I had been looking for a clock for my sewing area. It works just fine.

This goes daring in my craft room Keeps good time But must play with it a lot to keep the tail and eyes rolling It is on a magnet. And for some reason the tail will wag for hours. But will suddenly stop I then have to keep reposition it on the wall till I can get the tail and eyes to roll Eyes and tail will not keep wagging

Poorly made clock for the high cost. Cheap plastic looks like it will break just looking at it. Mine arrived with one of the eyes broken already. Don’t buy this so save your hard earned money!

Eyeballs and tail stopped working 3 months after I bought it. Kept it because it kept time and I didn’t care that much- it was still cute. Whole thing went to crap and of course the window closed in July 25 and it’s now Sept 25.

Really cute until the movement stopped working. The time was still going, but the tail and eyes just stopped working one day.

Several other reviewers complained about the quality, but I had a Kit Cat Klock when I was a kid (for which I had begged my parents) and the quality is identical to the version manufactured in the 1980's. Yes, from the side you can see some tiny space behind the eyeball when it rolls to the side, which was always the case. (I kind of remember finding that irksome even when I was little.) Don't wind the arm the wrong way, or you will break them, which is what I did with my first clock. You must use the minute hand to change the time, and only turn it clockwise. Make sure you take out the stuffing holding all the parts in place. Follow the included instructions to get the eyes and tail moving. This isn't a Swiss clock, people---it's a fun, classic novelty item, it's cute, and it keeps good time. This is actually an improvement over the previous version because there is no electric cord dangling out the back. Also, it's made in the USA. As with any mechanical clock, remember to be gentle, and pack it into the original box if you have to store or move it.
