The case is a great value for the money. I gave it 4 stars because compared to the Otter Box, it is not as soft and doesn't have the flexible flaps that cover the openings. This case is a hard, durable plastic. *Update* After using the case for a month and a half I can say that the case is slippery. You can't stand this one up and lean it on anything as it will slide down. It has slid off to the floor in my car a few times, where the Otter Box never did. You just have to find other ways to prop it up and hold on to it.

Had this for 2 weeks. Very sturdy and well made. But it made my phone feel like a brick. Overall thickness is about 15 mm (almost double the phone thickness). And although the corners and sides are softer rubber, the front and back are hard. It slides whenever I put it down on anything unlevel. Fell off my airline tray constantly. Access to the silence button is difficult. I really don't like it for my purposes. If you want something to protect your phone from abuse, this is great. But I will be replacing it with something less bulky and hard.
