Nova Maple Candy - Pure Maple Syrup Sugar Leaf Candy (8 Ounces)

It takes a heck of a lot of syrup to make maple sugar candy. Therefore, it is not cheap. Sometimes I'll splurge on a more expensive brand, but there are times when you just want that maple sugar fix at a fair price. I tried this brand because the price was lower than most of the others. If that's a deciding factor for you, definitely give these a try. They arrived in No Frills packaging, but they are fresh with that slight crisp outside and the creamy interior that is like silk. They have the exact texture that they should have. This particular box looked more like factory seconds than a gift worthy product, as you can see in the video. But even at this price they are still a luxury so I'm happy to sacrifice some pretty looks for some great taste.

Sooooo good. Exactly what I wanted, just like the ones we used to get in Canadian gift shops in Vancouver. Expensive yes, not for every day, but they are so good!

I looove these as a healthy treat for when I stay off processed white sugar! Such a great flavor.

Sad to say these were not good. Several were broken in the box, they are hard and the texture isn't good. They seem dried out like little rocks. They said they should be kept refrigerated but the package was not cool when it arrived. This is not the candy experience I was hoping for, as I've had these candies from other brands that were soft to bite and very delicious. These are not tasty.

Tastes great; I have a standing order, and look forward to each delivery. Only problem, true of ALL such treats, is that the candy does harden up over time, no matter how you store it. Tastes the same, but harder to chew after a month or so.

I wish these weren't so expensive because I love them. The outside is a little crunchy and the inside is so creamy, it just melts in your mouth. The flavor is pure maple syrup.

I grew up in MA and we had amazing local maple candy. I now live in the desert in NV and wanted my kids to try some. I knew it wouldn’t be as good as back home but I had hoped it was at least edible. The reviews were right. It arrives in a cardboard box that is not sealed up. Therefore they are stale. It’s a no brainer. They also taste like what cardboard smells like. So disappointed. My son tasted one and said, “Yuck, it tastes like sweet paper!” Since it’s a food item, Amazon won’t automatically give me a refund. I’ve contacted the company to let them know their packing technique is inferior and requesting a refund from them directly. So sad. 😢
