Arrived ahead of schedule and appeared to be essentially new.
I believe this is my second order from the seller. I ordered a Pixel 5a in early 2023 to install LineageOS then jumped to /e/OS in order to replace my Samsung S10e that I had never been happy with. (Samsung and T-Mobile jointly managed to ruin an otherwise fine phone with forced system updates, forced app installations, and unwanted bloatware and games like Candy Crush being installed over night without permission. I recently read the S10e with the Exynos chips have security vulnerabilities too.) My first Pixel 5a served me well with de-Googled operating systems until a week ago it took one unfortunate fall from a pocket to the hardwood floor and shattered the screen. (Thankfully I have debugging enabled and could use scrcpy to view and use the phone from my PC.) I immediately turned to Amazon to order a replacement and once again I am fully satisfied. The phone arrived quicker than I was quoted and looks to be in perfect condition. If not for it being sold as renewed and not in the original box I would swear it was new. Pros: Excellent condition Unlocked and allowed installation of alternative OS. Came with a very interesting 3 port USB charger with a voltage and wattage indicator display. (Very light weight and I am skeptical of the quality but it had no problem charging to rechargeable table lamps in a short time.) Shipped fast. Cons: None as far as I can tell. Other: If you are like me and trying to keep Google and other sites out of your life as much as you can then this is a great phone with a sideloaded OS. Lineage is fine but I found I like /e/OS better. If you plan to install /e/OS the current version (2.5) is based around Android 13 while the latest LineageOS 21 is based around Android 14. The instructions to download a couple files are correct but the current Lineage boot.img and dtbo.img will not allow /e/OS to install. (Version mismatch.) You will need to source the older files from Lineage 20. I was smashing my head against the wall trying to figure out why such an easy process in 2023 was causing me so much trouble yesterday. Once I found a backup of the old files through Wayback machine it was easy as always.

Defective with bad customer service (with update)
The phone itself is good. Good camera, great battery... About 1.5 months into it, the screen started flashing static. The video is from about the 3rd day of this. Several weeks later, the phone is completely unusable. The screen flashes constantly and no longer goes back to normal. I requested a refund since it was still within the 90 days. I requested a replacement. I was told that a replacement would be sent and that I would have 7 days to return the other. If it wasn't in processing by then, they would take the money from my account to cover the new phone that was sent. I work and am a mom so I didn't have the time to send the phone back right away. In the morning of the 7th day, I went to print the return label and discover that not only did they never send the replacement phone, they cancelled it all together. Why? Because I didnt return the original. First of all, that was not the deal. They said they would send the phone and I would return the old one separately. That if I didn't return it, they would just take the money for the new one. Not that the new one wouldn't be sent until the old one was returned. Not only that, but the phone was due to processing on 4/18 implying I had until 11:59 pm on 4/18 to send it in. Not that they would cancel it first thing in the morning on 4/18. When I told customer service this, they side stepped it. They asked what the problem with the phone was and I told them about the screen glitching. They said that they would submit a claim for me, and that I WOULD NOT have to return the old one. Well here we are a week later. My claim and refund has been canceled. Why? Because I didn't respond to the seller's request for more details. Did I receive a request for more details? NO. I received instructions on how to return the phone, but since I was already told that I didn't have to, I assumed it was a mistake or a delayed email from the first time. So I have submitted yet another complaint and had to wait even longer to get the money which Amazon cheated me out of. Also worth noting that my last phone was a Pixel 4a, refurbished by Amazon. It stopped working after a year. Just stopped while I was taking pictures. If you want this phone, which is a nice phone, buy it new. It's more expensive but will be less stress overall, and possibly cheaper since I'm likely going to have to buy a different one on my own. UPDATE MAY 11th: Still haven't received my refund. I had to make an entire new refund request. I returned the old phone THAT day (May 8th). This morning I get an email saying that once more my claim has been canceled BECAUSE I DIDN'T RESPOND TO THE REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION. Wanna know who didn't get a request for more information??? ME. I'm going through emails, checking the spam. Nothing. I've reported the seller and spent 30 minutes trying to get on with customer service again. I ended up having to enter the chat under the guise of reporting another product because I was unable to enter a chat through the phone's order or refund page. The question of why the claim was cancelled was one again side stepped but at least they confirmed they got the message that the phone was being returned. Also worth noting that the instructions say you have to log out of all accounts to avoid a restocking fee. I was unable to do this because the phone is too broken. I couldn't even do a hard restart. So not only is it unlikely that I'll ever get my money back, I'll probably have to pay for the restocking. Don't buy from here they're thrives and liars

Replacement for dropped and broken 5a
This was a replacement Pixel 5a for one that I dropped and broke the screen. Phone was packaged in a different box, but looked new and included the charger and cable. I am glad my broken 5a was backed up to the Google cloud. Transfer of everything from the cloud to my new phone went well, including download of about 100 apps (although some of those required signing in again). Overall, I am pleased with the phone and that the transfer process went so well.

Works as advertized. . .
On the initial order, the package arrived, but alas no phone was in the package, after contacting seller, they sent another express package and finally the phone arrived. It was spotless (even though used), and works great. We especially like the camera, awesome photos in all kinds of conditions. The phone is fast, responsive, we use the fingerprint feature, and it works great. There is nothing about this phone that we don't like. FYI both my spouse and I use the exact same Pixel 5a (5G 6GB RAM/128GB Rom), and hope these are around for a long time. They are just the right size (not to big, not to small), fast, great screen, long battery life, tons of room. We really don't see the need to upgrade to anything 'newer.' We plan to continue buying this phone in the future, as long as it is commercially available.

Wrong at first, but fixed fast
Originally sent a Locked Fi version that couldn't be provisioned to Verizon. Contacted the seller and they sent out a correct unlocked replacement unit wayyyy faster than I expected. As for the device itself, this 5a 5G doesn't seem used. It seems bad new. Not a scratch on it. After a week of charges, Accubattery gives a reading of 102% capacity!!

LOTS OF COMPLAINTS
Item came in mint condition and has been working flawlessly. Came with a charger and all the necessary tools for setup and swapping in a new SIM card. I'm editing my review because 6 months later, after a few months of the screen occasionally going unresponsive and the phone needing to be reset it completely stopped working after a small fall while using it in the bathroom (not what you think!). The phone had been dropped lightly before several times but nothing out of the ordinary from past phones which all kept working fine for years. My motorola X4 still works even now, it's like 8 years old. I bought a new screen assembly from a 3rd party and tried installing it today which mixed results. It definitely worked but after the screen would be shut off for not even 10 seconds when unlocking the phone again nothing would register on the touchscreen. Resetting the phone would fix this issue until it repeated and then finally the touchscreen stopped working again. I had to reboot the phone in a recovery mode to get it to even work in the first place. TLDR don't buy this phone it's unreliable and breaks easily and since it's used you get 0 warranty coverage. Wasted 180$ on this pos.

great battery life, substandard but satisfactory camera, and eventual black screen of death
The phone worked well while it worked. The camera worked well for most uses, but there were time it has been disappointing -- such as when taking pictures of the moon, it seemed to have trouble focusing well. A half eclipsed moon appeared as a full white orb without any detail. Other Pixel 4a's in my house could take the same pictures without issue. I had it for 1 year and 5 months, and then the screen went black while sitting on my desk--it had stopped playing music and when I went to choose something, I could see nothing on the screen anymore--no drop involved (screen was immaculate--not scratched, chipped, cracked). The phone wasn't "dead" because I could hear/feel vibrations when plugged in for charging, hear notifications, hear a weekly alarm, and could make calls using Bluetooth in the car. I just had no way to see what was on the screen. Battery life was still great--it took over a week to discharge enough to power off on its own (could only restart it without interacting with the screen). Repairability of this particular unit is questionable--attempts to swap the screen have failed because normal adhesive that would soften with heat does not appear to have been used. The screen/bezel was thoroughly bonded to the case. So, great battery life in a renewed phone, substandard but mostly satisfactory camera, and sadly less than desirable screen life. Bye Bye Pixel 5a...hello replacement.

Everything about this Pixel 5a was flawless
It did take charging it twice before the battery would read 100%. It would not go above 82%, but I just figured that was within the allowable quality, so that's the way it was. The 2nd day, I took it off of the charger and it was 100%. Easily lasts all day. The screen has no scratches, nor does the back. The phone is perfect and a great deal for the price. Plus it has a headphone jack, which I need so that I can line out to my guitar rig for backing tracks.
