Good Design and Works Well
Installs easily and functions well. The parts seem high-quality and strong.

Very convenient.
This is the easiest way to connect radios and antennas without any hard work or holes in house or shop.

Expensive, warped, and unfinished.
I wish MFJ would sell this product without the wood, and cut the price a little. It would actually be easier for them to ship. Anybody who can cut it to fit, can install the metal pass through onto their own wood. According to the instructions, the "wood base plate is painted with a heavy coat of outdoor white pain." Um, no it's not - just plane bare wood. Warped: if they are going to insist on including wood, then do something, anything, to reduce the likelihood that it will warp/bend. I like the product, it solves my problem, but I will have to do some work, which doesn't warrant the price I paid.

Works well
This is a well designed product. It is also very usable. I had to run several coax cables into the house from two outdoor antennas. This window feed thru panel makes that easy to do and gives a very professional look to the installation.

Very poor craftsmanship and misleading photo
The metal section is great but when they attached it to the board it is not even centered. Also might be a little less misleading if they showed the wood in the pictures rather than just a pic of the metal portion not attached to a unfinished piece of fence board. Should have known better than to order Ham Radio equipment on Amazon.

Serves the purpose - not many alternatives.
This is the second MFJ window feedthrough panel I have owned and both were about the same. They are fairly well built and I don't think you could assembly one with all the components for what you will pay for the MFJ panel. I was easy to install and sealed up quite well in my window. The only thing I had to do was to put a couple screws on the left and right lower side of the panel to keep it from kicking out at the bottom. Those two screws, and the window sitting on top of the panel, holds it in place very well. It beats drilling holes through the floor, or wall. Easy in - Easy out.

Buy the one you need, never want another.
I waited a long time to buy this because there are so many configurations available. Finally, I found an old Hallicrafter that works so I knew which one I needed. This is kind of a lifetime purchase. Quality hardware, well thought out.

Sloppy Work
it is so crooked, but I had to put it in before the weather came on. The hardware works, the quality of work sucks. I would have built one myself but at 70 yr old, I shake too bad to use a saw. So disappointed and certainly NOT worth the price for the quality. And I have quite a bit of MFJ products. So sad I got burnt. Now to take out and paint.
