Mailbox seems ok. I don’t understand why they call it an architectural mailbox not that it matters I can’t open the back door where my mailbox is located anyway. It only has the front door and is strong enough and is supposed to be galvanized so it won’t rust. It’s rather long which is fine. Now I just have to find a volunteer to mount it or get up and do it myself, the latter will be the option. Wish me luck. Tks

It is what I would call a perfect mailbox. The coloring is smooth and bright. The flag moves easily but not so easy it falls by itself. The magnetic door latch is a great replacement for the old wedge style. It is also a breeze to install. Same mounting as your old one usually. I am very happy with it.

I loved the bright red color of this mailbox. It really helps people find my driveway on a heavily wooded, rural road. I replaced a very old mailbox with it when the post rotted out. The very old mailbox was in decent shape but rusted. So I know my issues aren't to do with post or mailbox placement. After 2 years, I'm replacing this mailbox, and it really needed replaced after 1. The flag fell off almost right away, and the pull to open the box busted off not long after. Both plastic parts. Without the pull tab, the mailman couldn't get it easily opened and shut, so it was left partially open and got mangled by someone driving by, maybe a snowplow. The door then got bent in half along the diagonal, and try as we might, we couldn't get it straightened out well enough to shut completely. Now we're left with a box with missing, replaced, and damaged pieces that can't keep weather out or mail in. Useless.

Absolutely love my US postbox. Had a slight crack on the flag but otherwise it's perfect.

It's a nice mailbox! It was easy to install, make sure to have a few screw sizes on hand because it doesn't come with any! Looks great and seems sturdy for now, it's been on for almost a month, went through a few nights with strong winds and it's still holding great!
