I recently got this UGREEN vertical laptop stand to save some space on my work desk, and so far I'm really happy with it. It says it fits laptops from 0.47 to 1 inch thick, and I was able to get my MacBook Air to fit perfectly with no trouble at all. I'm using this with my work-provided Dell Latitude to reduce the amount of space it takes on my desk, as when I'm at home I only ever use it plugged into the dock, with my monitors and peripherals. In this regard, it's brilliant. My laptop is taking up significantly less space than it did previously, and it looks quite tidy tucked behind my monitors on this stand. The adjustability is good, though I imagine it will work best with laptops that are mostly flat - the latitude does have a slight hump on the rear bottom side to elevate it when laying down, which does reduce contact with the Ugreen dock a bit when slid in. Quality of the dock itself is good, and the adjustability makes it suitable for a wide range of laptops. Definitely good to combine this with a docking station if you don't already use one.

decent quality but very fiddly and the nuts get loose all the time so the phrase needs to be constantly tightened up. Also the supported width could be better.

I don't have much desk space and switch between a PC tower and laptop with multiple screens. There's just no room to have the laptop open too. Most of these type of stands fit tiny Macs. This one however, fits a big beefy gaming laptop with ease. It's adjustable to quite a large size. It's got a decent weight to it, and sturdy enough that I'm not worried the laptop will fall over. There's a little dial to tighten and loosen the grip, and pads on the inside so your laptop won't get damaged. Overall, value for money. Does exactly what it's meant to. Looks smart. And it's a ton more versatile than other types.
