Don't buy these. Terrible, cheap, does not glow.
Bought these to give a little fun glow to my BMW i3 for nighttime rides. These stem covers are worthless. Cheaply made, and despite charging all day in direct UV light, outside in the sun, all day, they did not glow. Now even a little bit. Disappointed in the product, even if they were cheap, at least they should glow a little bit and not fall apart while screwing them onto the valve stem. Not worth even returning, just going to chuck them in the garbage.

-5 STARS. I read the reviews. Bought them anyway. Thought if they last a couple of hours into dusk, that would still be a beneficial safety feature. When they arrived, I put them under a very bright light for six hours. Then took them into a pitch black room. They glowed. But it was very, very, very weak. No way you'd see it on the road. Thought I'd let one soak in the sun all day and see if it was different. When I crewed it onto the valve stem, it came apart in two pieces. Inside piece screwed on like a normal valve stem cover. Outside piece was friction-fit sheath that quite possibly would come off over time with road vibrations. Pretty much useless. Seriously - do not buy.

They look sort of cheap during the day, but that may be a good thing.
Each of these caps are actually made up of two pieces; a sort of inner and outer cap. As I was screwing one onto the stem, the outer cap popped off. I was able to snap the caps back together and continue. The caps do indeed glow-in-the-dark. During the day they look very plain; unattractive actually (IMHO). I’m hoping that plainness turns out to be a plus, discouraging theft. Every time I’ve purchased fancy looking tire stem caps, they’ve gone missing. Hence the reason for this purchase. Time will tell how well they hold up with every day use. It will be interesting to see if they stay intact during visits to the car wash.I’m glad they come in packs of 12. It will make replacement quite easy.
