Great snap when covering with fabric
I love how easy it was to cover these snaps with fabric. You trace a Quarter for the pattern. Sew around the edge of the fabric and then pull the stitches. It will pull in over the snap. Tie a knot in it and then assemble as normal. It elevates an outfit without having to do button holes. Perfect for children. The regular-sized snaps didn't have a long enough post to accomodate the fabric.

Does the job! Good quality.
if you know how to use regular snaps buttons, then the benefits of long prongs are obvious. These buttons make it easy to use for thick, heavy fabrics. In my case, I used these buttons to make a safety net out of thick nylon straps, protecting the passenger compartment of a Jeep Wrangler, with removed the roof and back windows. See photos. Excellent quality, very easy to work with. Recommended!

For those projects that are too thick for regular snaps
I’ve just gotten into using plastic snaps and a few of my fleece projects were too thick for regular plastic snaps and these did a great job. They only come in black and white with the longer prongs, which is unfortunate, a variety of colors with the longer prongs would be wonderful.

Quality Snaps
I use KAM snaps on many projects. I prefer the Extra Long Pong ones for anything that has a couple of layers of vinyl. They are more secure once set. The shorter prong can sometimes pull out.
