Works fantastic! Works on my macbook, my windows pc, it even works on my android head unit in my car! Very good build quality, full metal construction, and the usb cable they give you its braided, and it feels very quality. 10/10 I use this thing everywhere now, might just buy another so I dont have to keep bringing it around with me!

I just plugged it into my MacBook and it worked right away - volume control and mute/unmute. It has a nice feel to it and is solidly built.

The reason for 3 stars is this is not a 30 dollar item. I really enjoyed using it but after a week of thinking "I paid $30 for this??" I returned it. It feels nice. Its heavy, doesn't slide. The knob functions well. Feels more like a $15 item for what it is. It's exclusively a wired volume knob at the end of the day

I bought another one before this that was plastic, larger, and just was not pleasing to use. If you're buying this, you're probably expecting to use it daily. If you like old school audio equipment that has metallic parts, and you like the quality feel that provides, get this one.

The USB Volume Control works as advertised. However, in my opinion it does have one design flaw. It uses a step-type attenuator/control and only adjusts in two steps and only even numbered values. So, for example if the sound is to say at 8 the next step up becomes 10 and a step down will be 6. If you want a level in between these values, you would be out of luck. You would need to use Windows sound control. That kind of defeats the purpose.

Works well Good quality

I have this hooked to a Samsung TV to control the volume without the remote control. It works really well, plug and play. Highly recommended!
