Helly-Hansen Women's Aden Waterproof Windproof Breathable Packable Hood Rain Coat Jacket

lightweight, waterproof & style too!!

While I love this jacket, I bought a bigger size based on my husband's jacket. I usually wear a Men's XL or Women's 1X, but I bought a 4X. A 2X would have been too small, a 3X would have fit perfect, but I wanted a looser fit that I could comfortably wear a sweatshirt under. If you are a top heavy woman, size up!

This is very well made and kept me dry , no leaks around seams, warm and pleasant, outside is not very noisy while hiking in very wet Iceland weather, with above freezing temperatures. very light.

Runs small

I was a little afraid of a white rain jacket, but when I put it on, I had to keep it Looks great on. I'm 5'8" about 140 lbs. I wear medium fitted jackets or large roomy jackets for layers. I bought the large and am very impressed, for the price it's a steal! Helly Hansen quality and a very, crisp white jacket looks great with black pants or skinny jeans and boots! And lucky for me it rained two days after I received it, it kept me dry and is very comfy.Update 3/2/2018: I wore the jacket for a rainy walk and I am in LOVE with this well thought out, cute and super functional jacket. The hood stayed in place without me having to adjust/readjust like I do with other hooded rain jackets. LOVE this jacket!

I got this rain jacket in the Navy Blue. It’s a well constructed jacket and the color is quite vibrant. I wore it in a serious downpour for an hour and it actually kept me dry. My sweater felt just a bit damp inside but we were working up a sweat on our walk too. (There are no vents in this jacket.). I was surprised by how waterproof it was since my family is devoted to GORE-TEX (which is not used in this jacket). It packs down nicely as well (for travel). Fits as expected. The price is great for a jacket of this quality.

I appreciate the price compared to Helly-Hansen’s site and storefront but wow… how gross to have received one in such poor condition. I ordered the Navy Blue Aden in size XS which fit perfectly but returned it due to finding a used nose tissue in the left pocket, hair in the inner collar fabric and small stains here and there but all over! Whoever returned this definitely wore it beforehand but kept the tags on and zipped them into the jacket pocket since that’s how it was received. Disgusting this would be recirculated.
