Awesome speaker
Wow! This is an amazing piece of kit. I have Soundcore headphones so I was expecting this to be good, but the sound quality, volume, bass and battery life are incredible. Bluetooth is seamless, exceptional value for money, good looking, clear as a bell and built to last. Have also used as a soundbar on my TV!

Very loud, Deep bass, Can hear from 50m away
The quality is very high, even for refurbished models. The value for what you get is seemingly too good to be true, with roughly 9 hours of battery life at full volume, and an extremely loud and full of bass sound, this thing can be heard from over 100m away! The sound is rich and powerful, and vibrations can be felt across the room. It is relatively light for its size, however can easily be slung over a shoulder or carried in a backpack. I have actually bought an extra since, and use them paired in wireless mode giving a very nice performance. The sound quality is surprisingly enjoyable across a range of genres however some consider it to give a “boomier” sound, it will not compete with any higher end and considerably more expensive and large portable speakers such as the JBL party box 710, but is on par with the JBL party box 310, albeit slightly quieter. After pairing two together however, it’s unbeatable for the price and is louder, nicer sounding and far more portable when you factor in its size and stereo sound mode. I have used this product both Indoors, for outdoor social events, and even for parties with multiple connected together, in fact we were visited by security due to the speakers shaking the walls! I highly recommended this product for anyone who wants a loud, deep and easily portable speaker! I highly recommend this product, and assure you that you will be very impressed!

Perfect speaker for any occasion!!
Really great build quality, metal and plastic mix, super way to use, connects really well - SUPER loud perfect for a party or gathering, booming base - this speaker is unbeatable in my opinion. Would highly recommend!

Totally Recommend
Brilliant speaker with excellent sound quality and outstanding value for money. I have had mine for three years and it still impresses me every time I use it. I have taken it on countless holidays, carrying it through the airport and onto the plane using the strap, with no issues at all. It has been the life of so many trips and is incredibly easy to use. I also really like the design, and if you do not want an overpowering bass you can simply switch off the bass boost mode. It still sounds full and punchy without being intrusive. I would highly recommend this product.

Very good, very portable, has some weaknesses mind...
Just had mine delivered & have had a quick but fair extensive play with it for 30-45 mins or so & 1st impressions are, well, very good. Straight away though, the default sound-profile (set via the app you download from the App Store for your phone's particular o/s) needs changing. I'm no expert on using equalisers & to that end, wasn't really sure what I was doing but even in my ignorance with tweaking (the 9 controllable frequencies), I managed quite significantly better audio quality - from the stock "preset" one. Next, well it's pretty loud though if you want it loud loud (think Mickey Flanagan - "are we going out out??"), then you'll sacrifice that bass you may have just elicieted from tweaking the lil equaliser! Yer, sadly the sound quality changes a fair bit when the volume gets up there. Ok, there's a but there; BUT it's bloody loud enough with a great acoustic performance to easily fill a largish room - such that this isn't a big problem fortunately. So, I remain impressed. Next: well, even though I read reviews & saw pics before buying, I am surprised at how small it is. It's not that big & it's very light. The lightness (again, I was already aware this was one of its attributes pre-purchase) kind of make you feel it's a bit cheap - but then its absence of weight adds to its' portability & buoyancy (it floats in water). I think would have liked it to have felt a little heavier (say, with a larger battery - to get a guaranteed 24hrs regardless of volume settings - rather than I think a max of 20 I think from the specs). I'd have also liked some LED lights, similar to that of the Tribit but that speaker faired poorly in the sound quality stakes in review & good sound is fairly important for me otherwise, every time I use it - it'd annoy me & I'd switch it off. So summarised; it's pretty good. Check out "JerryRigEverything" on YouTube as he, er, "disassembles" one - there's not much inside it! Feels like it could be priced below £100 really, especially after seeing its' innards! I think this would be better at £99 all day (with occasional sales on knocking it lower-still - to £79). As it is, I paid £129 (& am aware it's been as low as £119 in the past). Just to give you a spectrum as to the audio quality that I'm used to; I have a Sennheiser "Ambeo Max" under my Lg G2 TV in the Log Rm & have a Naim "Muso" for the kitchen-diner - both of course have excellent credentials as speakers in there own rights - so my saying the Soundcore sounds "pretty / very good" - is actually fairly high praise indeed (next to those examples)! **Forgot to add; so I connected this to the LG (48A1 OLED a 2022 model-year) in the kitchen-diner as a Bluetooth speaker; it works great – not notable lag / speech sync issues & of course a great substitute for the built-in TV speakers (& with LG TV’s you can use both, just the BT speaker, or use the BT speaker as a rear speaker if you like).

Step aside Soundcore Motion Boom, there's a bigger kid on the block !
I own the Soundcore Motion Boom (purchased due to mainly good reviews) which I was, and still am very happy with for its good sound, good bass and easy portability. I would compare it to the size of a lion cub, but with a roar on a similar level to its mother ! Its little size belies its output. BUT, when I saw the Motion Boom Plus being advertised, which I now call 'the daddy', it is bigger and heavier, bigger speakers, and has tweeters and an aux socket, of which neither are on the Motion Boom, and with it being considerably more powerful than the Boom, then this was a no brainer for me ! I received an email from Anker to buy an early bird coupon for ÂŁ1 to get a discount code for a whopping ÂŁ62 off. How could I refuse such an offer? Had to get it, and am very pleased that I did. As a music lover of various devices, and owner of a few 'old school' boomboxes that this Motion Boom Plus resembles, I have a massive personal music collection spanning back from the 80's, and I listen to a lot of YouTube music these days ( didn't take me long to build up a massive YT playlist) discovering so much music that I have never heard before. There is also the added option of the aux socket to plug in my ipod, portable cd/mp3 player or portable minidisc player, yes, minidisc player, and this powerhouse unit does not disappoint. Sound quality is as good as anything i've heard from a bluetooth boombox. I prefer clarity with all music, and the bass does not cloud or drown out the overall sound. Bluetooth boomboxes have come a very long way and are improving all the time with the sound quality and increased power output. Connection is quick and the Soundcore App (Play Store) lets you tweak the sound to your own personal taste, and you will need to do that to get the best sound out of it. It does make a noticeable difference compared to the standard 'out of the box' settings which sounded terrible. Battery life seems good so far, though not quite as long lasting as the motion boom, but that is not an issue. I have found that the bass can sound a lot weaker depending on where you place it, be it high up, medium level or low down, so it's best to move it around to find an area that hits the bass 'sweet spot'. Then you can get the party started ! I just wish the subs at the side had some sort of protection grills, not that I would put it anywhere where there is a chance it could get damaged. After all, I do have to look after my newly adopted 'daddy' with extreme care ! Overall, a highly recommended product by another happy customer.

Homework Done Right - Boom Plus vs Boom
The speaker is amazing in every aspect and represents incremental improvements over the old model - Soundcore Boom. The review will be built around comparison between Boom and Boom Plus. Pluses/Improvements: 1) Even though boombox has become larger, the size of the boombox still fits into rucksack, sack with straps, on a shoulder strap or even carried in hand 2) Weight is around 2.5kg, you can still easily carry it using shoulder strap or just in hand; it is definitely not heavy being carried in a rucksack. I was carrying it for an hour in hand and did not get tired. 3) The body of the speaker is made from ABS plastic; you may think that materials used in Marshall or JBL speakers are more durable, but when you damage those premium speakers, there is not way to restore silicone, rubber or durable fabric; ABS plastic instead is still serviceable using glue, file or soldering iron 4) The bass button improves bass dramatically; the old model was producing muddy bass almost unusable to listen to; bass from Boom Plus is clean, tight, punchy, deep, powerful, impactful. However most of the bass is preserved around 80-85% loudness. When you exceed that loudness threshold, mids and treble overpower bass 5) When paired with another speaker, bass is becoming even more interesting; if you can afford 2 boomboxes, you should try it for yourself or check Youtube reviews 6) Speaker got rid of the early issues detected on the model launch in May-June 2022 - passive radiators being blown out during exposure to sun and summer heat; firmware update fixed piercing highs around 6-7kHz 7) "Soundcore Signature" sound profile visible as a sound graph within mobile application "Soundcore" got also updated/changed with the last firmware update and shines better than EQ recommendations from different vloggers and audio enthusiasts who are trying to improve the boombox sound using different tweaks and presenting them on youtube; this is the first time when "Soundcore Signature" preset produces better audio. 8) The speaker is capable of playing 7-8 hours using maximum loudness; decent medium specs in terms of battery life; 9) Passive radiators are submerged into the body of the speaker more prominently for better mechanical protection 10) The speaker produces large sound stage, sounds powerful and involving, almost euphoric; make sure to place it on a firm ground with a wall behind it for better bass and power sound; Boom has more narrow sound stage due to the size and wattage 11) Boom Plus features 80 watts of powers vs 30 watts from Boom, it is immediately noticeable and contributes to euphoric powerful sound and emotional attitude towards music; it is almost painful to listen to it inside the room on the maximum loudness and absolutely enjoyable outdoors; the sound is not painful at all in terms of proper maximum loudness level 12) Boom Plus features titanium main drivers and two tweeters producing pleasant clear crystal highs; previous Boom models had only 2x passive radiators and 2x mid bass titanium drivers; driver setup inside Boom Plus is represented by 2x25 watt mid bass drivers, 2x15 watt tweeters + 2x passive radiators 13) When I got my Boom speaker a yer ago, I also received a customer survey inside Soundcore app surfaced to those who has connected Boom inside the application; the focus of the survey was to receive customers opinion on the design of the Soundcore logo placed on the coming Boom Plus speaker grill with several photos having this logo small, medium or large covering the entire front speaker grill etc; back then I responded to that survey by saying that small company logo looks like a mouth, 2x mid bass drives look like eyes and tweeters appear to be ears of the "robot face", if you look into the driver setup behind the speaker grill ;-)) - I am glad that after a year I hold this very design in my hands and enjoy all this homework being done correctly. 14) Custom EQ is still at your disposal to play with speaker settings; builtin profiles are Signature Sound, Voice, Treble Boost, Balanced; you can still apply custom EQ settings and save them; trick discovered earlier in Boom model - move all EQ sliders up to the maximum, which makes speaker 10-15 db louder - is still in place but the sound is not that clear 15) Boom Plus features AUX port which was lacking in Boom model; now you can plug the boombox into your laptop, PC or smartphone using 3.5mm cable 16) Boom plus still features powerbank capabilities, Type-C charging input; the difference is that rubber plug that covers USB, Type-C and AUX port is sealing them better, is constructed and designed better with less risk to tear it apart over time Cons: 1) I wish the speaker had even more power 100-120-140-160 watts 2) not sure that ABS plastic is a proper material, for speaker Summary: Boom Plus has become everything that Boom could not do a year ago Note: please remove plastic covers from rubber stoppers on the legs of the speaker; the bass is so powerful that speaker moves by itself to the edge of the bench and may fall into the ground, if the plastic covers are not removed from rubber stoppers on which the speaker is standing.

BUDGET PRICE SPEAKER PUTTING GIANTS LIKE JBL TO SHAME.
What can i say about my Motion Boom Plus Bluetooth Speaker? The value for money in my opinion compared to the likes of JBL and BOSE is just something else, the clarity and bass that this speaker gives out is so satisfactory and as far as i am concerned i am not paying for the brand name like i would be if it was one off the well known brands that we all know. i have quite a few bluetooth speakers and there are a mixture off the smaller brands as well as a giant like Bose. Dock D Fine .Neocore and Soundcore are companies that goes to show a customer does not need fork out hundreds of pounds just to get quality sound from speakers. So far my Soundcore Motion Boom Plus has not had any issues that i have noticed. Some customers when playing there Motion Boom Plus outside in hot weather have compared about the passive radiators swelling but touch wood that has not happened to me,admittedly i have not played my speaker outside but i have played my speaker in a hot room a few times and nothing bad as happened whatsoever. If i do have a criticism it is that the speaker casing is plastic, meaning that the Motion Boom Plus has not got a rugged build like my Neocore as or even a JBL Extreme. These two speakers have rugged rubbery casing that would protect the speakers from a 3 or 4 feet accidental drop.Whereas my Motion Boom Plus does not have such protection on it. But what it lacks in protection the Motion Boom Plus makes up in great sound. When playing the speaker it is best to use Soundcore Signature sound mode and with the bass on,because with the bass off the sound is rather tinny. There are also other preset settings and also you can set the sound to your own preference. In ending this review the Motion Boom Plus more than delivers the goods and the ÂŁ189 that i paid for this speaker is money that did not break the bank. This is a verified purchase as i bought the speaker from Amzaon. Soundcore Motion Boom Plus is a speaker that more than closes the gap when it comes to Bose and JBL speakers.Battery life is more than adequate in my opinion and i would say the 20 hours stated is correct.

Excellent Speaker!! The Perfect Balance!!
UPDATE AFTER 10 MONTHS: I can safely say that I love this speaker, everything in my original review is still true! Battery life has been great, connectivity nearly perfect, sound is great for the size! I love it so much that I bought a second one to use as a stereo setup!! Snagged the second on sale a few days ago for 99$. Such a phenomenonal value at that price! The TWS Stereo connectivity is super easy to use and convenient!! After a tiny bit of setup, I just turn them both on and they pair right up in stereo. After about 1 second of weirdness when I start a new bit of content on them they sync flawlessly and truly work as stereo speakers! And the power of 2 of these things is pretty wild! My only cons that I have found After many hours of use: - They charge quite slowly, 10w I think. Not at all a big deal as I let them charge overnight if I notice the battery getting low. - On 2 occasions (and not for a long while now) there was some annoying clipping with the audio. This could easily have just been some sort of interference on that day or location. - I wish they had a pin to protect them from being paired to by random people. As I am a teacher, this has been annoying on 1 occasion in particular. Original Review: After doing lots of research I decided on this speaker. I was leaning toward the Motion Boom 2 due to its smaller size, but ended up going with this one mostly due to the Aux Jack. I am beyond happy with my purchase. I don't think that there is a better speaker on the market that strikes such a perfect balance. This speaker is the perfect balance of size/weight to volume/features as well as price to sound quality. This speaker is just loud enough for all of my uses. To give you an idea: I have used it to play music on a blacktop for 50-60 kids outside at a low volume. It was just loud enough that you could hear the lyrics of the music above the background noise. It nicely covers a basketball court sized area outside with enough volume to set the vibe. Which is very impressive for such a small speaker. When used Inside it packs quite the wallop. The mid bass that this speaker puts out is mind blowing. If you want to hear exactly what the bass player in your favorite band is doing then this is the speaker you want! All of this and it's fully waterproof to boot! Also I bought this speaker for 140$ and am super happy. I've recently seen it for 100$. At that price don't even hesitate! Just buy this speaker! Haha. **TLDR - unless you want a tiny speaker, or full PA system, JUST BUY THIS SPEAKER. This is what you want!
