Jabra Evolve 65 UC Stereo Wireless Bluetooth Headset/Music Headphones Includes Link 360 (U.S. Retail Packaging)

Been using this Jabra Evolve 65 UC headset every day for nearly 2 months now and I am very satisfied with it, both as a UC headset as well as general use headphones. For the last year my home PC has also been my work PC due to Covid WFH situations so I have it a co-mingled mix of my personal apps like video editing software, sound mixing software, and general use for watching Netflix or YouTube, and work apps like my Fuze softphone, Teams, Skype for Business, Zoom, and WebEx. I've also paired this headset with my cell phone for hands free calling. I've been really happy with how it performs in every case and can't think of anything that has been a major disappointment. The sound quality is quite good. It's not $300 Bose quality but it is still enjoyable for casually listening to music or watching a video with no annoying qualities like tinny highs or muddy or lackluster bass. If I had to pick one weak spot it would be that the headphone part is passive noise cancelling, which just means it has foam cushions that cover your ears and blocks out some noise. It works pretty well for ambient noise but I share an office with my wife and we are about 6 feet apart and when she is on a call I can hear her very clearly while wearing these Jabra headphones. That said, I knew they were passive NC when I bought them so I can't fault them for this. The mic, on the other hand, does an EXCELLENT job of rejecting most any sound that I don't make. I'll be on a call with my immediate team and my wife is being particularly animated on a call and I'll ask my team if they can hear her and everyone says they can't but I am loud and clear. I'm quite impressed with the noise cancelling of the microphone on this Jabra Evolve 65 headset. I've used them for voiceover work with my video editor and the mic sounds great there too. Another nice thing is the headset has a built in mute for the mic. I long press the vol down and it mutes the mic at the headset regardless of the app or phone connection being used at the time. I love the battery life. These headphones will make it through an entire day with plenty of battery life left. I've left them on overnight and they were still working in the morning, and if I do get in a low battery situation they will work just fine while charging so I can plug them in and let them charge while I'm using them. Overall I am very pleased with the Jabra Evolve 65. My wife has the Evolve 75 with active NC on the headphones and I've tried them out and didn't feel they were worth the additional money for my use, but it does work really well so if you are in a call center type environment you might consider spending the extra money for the headphone NC. otherwise, these Evolve 65's are a fantastic headset and I definitely recommend them.

recently got into elite dangerous, a pc sim game and purchased a gaming pc, mouse, desk, keyboard and monitor, but when it came to a headset i couldnt find anything that worked for me until i purchased the jabra 65 UC. first i bought a gaming headset and they were just too heavy, then tried a regular audiophile headset and although the sound was terrific, again they were just uncomfortable. from there i tried a gaming earbud type and couldnt get use to something stuck in my ear, so i took a chance and tried an office headset. these were very comfortable, i just found the cord was annoying and wanted to try a cordless version which brought me to these. granted , an office type headset doesnt have the sound quality of a regular headset, but imo they are still very good and personally i feel that gaining comfort, lightweight, and wireless outweigh the difference in sound quality by miles. i dont even feel these on my head and being wireless is awesome. i use a program called voiceattack with the game, it controls part of the game by voice commands, so it requires a good mic to hear these commands and the jabra mic has been performing flawlessly. i do also listen to music on my pc with these and to me it sounds pretty good, but there main function is for the game and although these are kind of expensive compared to alot of gaming headphones i personally think they were worth every penny...

I didn't get this for X-Mas and Santa Claus did not deliver one to me. However, this is an amazing item that would be just as great as something I would imagine to be delivered directly by Santa Claus! It's expensive, but I feel like the build quality is there as long as I take care of it. I prefer the dual ear pads for business usage instead of those other models with just one ear pad. The weight of the entire headset is pretty light, maybe not as light as a single-sided ear pad headset but it's not heavy compared to one of those serious music over-the-ear style headphones. I would not wear this to the gym to workout, because I feel these might not hold tight enough against the head while you jog on the treadmill. Was able to connect the headset to both my PC and iPhone, however, I initially had trouble finding a way to switch between the two devices. I contacted their support team by phone and was able to get a hold of a team member. He explained that the company is still working on the latest version of the software. He advised that I download version 1.0 from and install that instead. Once I installed it, I was able to navigate to the "Bluetooth" section to Disconnect or Connect the device depending on what I wanted. It's a decent workaround while they work on the existing latest version of the software for iOS Bluetooth and PC USB connectivity. Battery life has been pretty fantastic so far, but I have used it only for a few days. Today was not too busy for me so I spoke using the headphones for a couple hours only. Left it uncharged all day (10+ hours) and when I pressed on the button to check battery life the digital voice said, "battery full". Not sure if this power status is true or not, but I guess I could leave it unplugged for a couple days to test? I'll leave it unplug for another day or so and if it still does not drain any batter then the digital voice status generated by the headset might be wrong. The headset feels comfortable wearing it for several hours at a time. I do feel a little warm around the ears after two hours straight, but nothing major (expected). It's a work headphone so I have not tested music or game. I have Sony headphones for those other types of activities. The mic is pretty awesome, it is clear and people have no issues hearing me. The background noise is held to a minimum. The boom mic is slick and swivels up and down, and you can wear it either side of the ear. It has a magnet that clamps to the top of the headset if you are not using it. SUPPOSEDLY you can mute the mic if you swivel the mic boom to the top....? I haven't tested it, but I don't care. It would be a bonus, but not important to me. I mute the mic by software or by pressing on the "down" volume button on the headset for a 1 or 2 seconds. The mute button on the headset works when you are on an active call, but it does not seem to mute if there is no active call going on. The busy light signal on the side where the mic boom is located turns on occasionally? I thought it only worked with Bluetooth, but one time I saw it light up when I just completed a call from PC USB connection to my VOIP system. Not sure why it was lit up, but I disabled it because it feels a bit gimmicky. I don't expect people to actually "know" that I'm on the call just by seeing the red circle light up. It's not bad though, I don't have any negative opinions about it. The USB to Micro USB cable that comes with it is long enough for me to connect and use with my PC. It's not super lengthy (slightly under 5 feet, between 1.2 to 1.5 meters?), but good enough to be used while you are sitting close to your laptop. Just do not expect that you can walk around your desk with the USB cable attached. One feature request would be to be able to view the battery charge percentage from Jabra Direct software? That would be nice if the headset's digital voice status is not accurate. Overall, I believe this device is expensive but it does seem to be of high quality material. The sound quality is excellent as far as conversation goes. The ease of connectivity is fantastic. The mute is easy to activate compared to other generic headsets. Highly recommended! Update (8/05/2019): I am giving this product a 4 stars instead of 5, because I just found out that the headset was down to 5% battery this morning. The software popped up a notification, but when I pressed the button on the right side of the headset the digital voice stated "battery full". I do not agree to be mislead on this information, so minus one star of an otherwise great product. It is still a recommended product, but I hope the battery does not short out in the near future.

This is one of the best, all around, headsets for listening to Skype and telephone calls with my cell phones. I needed noise cancelling headphones because I am in open-plan office where people are talking to each other or on the phone. I tried another less expensive brand and returned them after I tried these. Although the headphones don't cover the ears completely, they cancel out the surrounding talking/noise and actually are MORE comfortable than the cheaper pair which did cover my ears. But the mic is great....and actually people on my call couldn't hear people talking 3 feet away from me. I am SO pleased with the performance and the comfortability. I charge them up every morning for about and hour and they are good to go throughout the day (although I am on a lot of meetings, I'm not constantly on...so I shut it off when I'm not on a call for an hour or two). Another REALLY good feature (you'll see others write about this) is that I can also use them via a Bluetooth connection for my phone. I like the fact that I don't have to put on a DIFFERENT headset to talk to my phone! Very convenient and one less electronic gadget sitting on my desk. They are lightweight and the mic is perfectly designed to be right in front of my mouth. If your job requires you to be on Skype meetings throughout the day and you work in a shared office area, these are the ones you should get. They ARE worth the money

I bought these because my girlfriend was complaining that I was missing her calls when I was on my computer using my headset. I often left my phone in another room and couldn't hear it ring when I was in the computer room. This is the solution! With this headset I am able to switch flawlessly from my computer to my smart phone and back again with just a touch of the button on the side of headset. This allows you to use the microphone and sound function of both your PC and a smart phone. So, while I'm on my PC using Teamspeak to talk to friend while gaming if I get a call I can just push the button on the headset and I'll be talking to the person on the phone. When the call is over it switches right back to the PC sound and mic functions. You'll never miss a call even if you're busy on your PC. The sound is crystal clear specially on phone calls. On calls it actually sounds FAR better than the built-in speaker and mic in my smart phone. It's comfortable and the setup was super simple. Also, the range is very good I have perfect sound everywhere in my house. I can see a lot of other uses for this headset, like working in shop where you need to move around and have your hands free, etc... I highly recommend this product.

Updated: After nine months, this headset has started experience connectivity problems with my iPhone 11 and MacBook Pro. The call picks up, but the headset loses the connection after 5 seconds. Pressing the Multi-Function Button usually fixes this, but it is difficult to know when it is happening. Pressing the MFB w/o the problem causes the call to be dropped! Very annoying! I would *not* recommend this unit until they resolve connectivity issues. Initial Review: Best BT headset I’ve ever owned. I didn’t buy it for noise cancellation so no eval on that. Excellent BT connectivity. Instantly switches between my iPhone and MacBook Pro which was a big problem for every other headset in the past. Good sound quality and not uncomfortable to wear for a few hours at a time. I have a slightly larger head that most men and it fits me quite well when I extend the headphone down all way.

BATTERY LIFE: I spend 60+ hours a week on the phone. I probably get 20+ hours of use before having to charge. RECHARGE TIME: Fully charged in a little over an hour. MIC NOISE CANCELLATION: EXCELLENT! I have 2 boys, 2 and 4. They are playing loudly across the room and they cannot be heard. I had them on my lap today while on a call. They were talking and making noise. I listened to the recording of my call and they could faintly be heard. By far my best experience with noise cancellation. CONNECTION TO MY POLYCOM: EASY! I connect the usb dongle into the back and that's it! CONTROLS: Excellent - I mainly use the answer/disconnect. It's a large button on the right ear. SIMPLE RANGE: This might be the best part of these. My office is in my basement. I can go to the second floor of my house and the sound is flawless. My coworker's home is bigger and has said that he can go everywhere in his home. DOn't spend $400 on other headsets. This one is excellent.

EDIT: Downgrading this rating to 1 star. So I broke down and replaced the first broken set with another set of the exact same model. Other than breaking in the first six months, I liked the set overall and I was willing to write the breakage off as a fluke. Having a left-side mic was a must for me and the newer Jabra models didn't seem to have that feature. And then today the new set $%^* broke in the exact. same. spot. And it's been just about 6 months on this set as well. Because the earcups are rotatable, there is only a 5mm spot where the ear cup connects to the headpiece. And that's what is breaking. I never got anywhere with Amazon Fresh on the first broken pair, so I'm not going to waste my time trying to get Amazon to do something about this broken pair. I'm replacing this set with a Plantronics Voyager Focus. I'm done with Jabra. I bought this headset in late May because I needed good call quality for working from home. I actually liked it quite a bit.. (the connectivity via dongle was lovely and I never had any issue with call quality) until this morning when the left ear cup (with the mic) came off while I was on a call, Admittedly, I used it for 8-6 hours a day most days, but if I pay this much for a headset from a known leader in the market, I expect more than 6 months of use. It's after the 30-day return window, so Amazon support won't do a darned thing.. they directed me to the seller: Amazon Fresh. (so Amazon Fresh isn't Amazon?!) but I doubt that I won't get anywhere with them either.

Excellent headset! I used to have the Mono version of it and would continue to use it, but after four years (!) the padding began to chip. I use the headset all day long, connected simultaneously to computer and to my cell. The sound quality is amazing indoor and outdoor. I tried a competing product that claims to use an advanced noise cancellation system. Ended up returning it back and buying Jabre Evolve again. Jabra's noise control is much superior to any advanced noise cancellation bullshit. Only shortcoming I note is the instability of the device on your head. If you bend or move your head sharply, the headset tends to get loose. But considering everything else, I would recommend this headset and if I ever need a new one this would be my first choice.

Great performance. I am using it for my meetings. Mic doesn't let ambience noise go through. Only thing is that on-the-ear headphones are uncomfortable to wear for long duration.

Its very good for the office call. In case you are getting this in Amazon Warehouse deal then it is worth. I liked this very much but after buying Bose quite comfort II, I rarely use it. My whole perspective got changed after using Bose. Even though Bose is costlier than this but every penny you spend on Bose has worth. You can also recieve Skype Call, Computer meeting, Office call from Bose QC 35-II. Jabra 65 headphone is also very good, Computer Call quality is very clear. Jabra updates firmware regularly. But Still you can not compare Jabra with Sound and Comfort which Bose has. You can easily wear Bose whole day but Jabra after wearing long time starts becoming uncomfortable. Any way rating on 5 point basis would be, my rating would be: Sound Quality (Music) - 3, not comparable to Bose Office Call quality (Skype, Phone) - 5 No Noise cancellation Microphone - 5. It has better microphone than Bose Comfort - 4, Bose is more comfortable Price - 5, It is cheaper than Bose.
