Fantastic Wireless Freedom – Just Be Aware of Audio Trade-Offs
I previously had wired headphones, but these are perfect for nipping downstairs to grab a drink while still chatting to friends on Discord. The wireless freedom is a game changer, and the connection stays solid with no dropouts. They’re super comfortable, the hot-swap batteries are brilliant (never worrying about charging mid-session is amazing), and the active noise cancellation works really well. Overall build quality feels premium and exactly what you’d expect at this level. It is worth remembering that with wireless you do lose some audio and mic quality. While the device shows 48kHz / 24-bit, in practice you’re getting more “DVD quality” audio rather than true studio quality. That said, for gaming and voice chat, it’s absolutely fine and more than good enough. Overall, I’m super happy with them. Excellent headset if you value comfort, convenience, and flexibility—just go in knowing the limits of wireless audio.

A spectacularly versatile, customisable, and premium wireless gaming headset
Upshot: If you demand wirless gaming while never having to worry about battery again, this is the one and only answer. Sound quality: 8/10 I don't have an exceptionally highly-trained ear, but they sound really nice. And this is a wireless headset remember. However, I would say they need EQing in order to sound proper good. Mic: 5/10 The mic sound quality is perfectly serviceable. It's not a Blue Yeti or anything, but with a bit of EQ, it sounds decent. It allows a range of settings, including AI noise reduction that works nicely. The mic can be seamlessly retracted into the headset to turn the Nova Pro Wireless into a pair of headphones, which adds to the versatility of the headset for travel or office use. It also has a mute indicator light on the mic, so you can easily see when you are and aren't muted. In addition, the headset allows adjustable "sidetone", allowing you to get a little bit of your own voice in your ears, which is nice. Noise cancelling: 4/10 It works. You can't choose the intensity of it, and the quality of it is not epic. But it blocks out my PC fans and it adds yet again to the versatility of this headset as an all-in-one audio solution. Battery life: 10/10 Hot-swappable batteries that can charge in the base station and the ability to fast-charge by USB-C as a backup option make battery life a worry of the past. This is truly unmatched by any other headset. Connectivity: 9/10 The ability to use low-latency 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5, or even wired, is fantastic. The inclusion of Bluetooth allows you to connect to your phone. You can use Bluetooth and 2.4GHz simultaneously too. The base station provides a fast, steady, and long-range connection. You can adjust the settings to prefer speed or range, whichever suits your needs. The base station also allows two inputs to it, which is especially important for console players. The only one complaint is the Bluetooth latency is high. Fine for music but a problem for watching videos. But it's a gaming headset, so that's more of an edge case usage. The key thing is that base station wireless is super low-latency. Software: 9/10 Sonar has been fantastic in my experience. I loved the sheer amount of customisability. I haven't experienced any bugs and I've played with nearly all of the settings at this point. Comfort: 6/10 With Wicked Cushions: 8/10 The clamping force is noticeably higher than many other headsets, but it's manageable, and it's a necessary trade-off to get superior sound quality. The headset is sizeable and has a little bit of weight to it, but it should fit head sizes from small to large. The ear cushions are leatherette, and adding this to the high clamping force means my ears get warm within 5 minutes of wear. In theory, a tight seal like this creates better sound, but I have found the heat leads to earwax compaction in my ears, which dulls the sound. I bought some Wicked Cushions and this improved comfort. Comfort for glasses wearers: 5/10 With Wicked Cushions: 7/10 The clamping force is always going to be a little higher on an audiophile headset, but it accommodates glasses acceptably. I have bought some Wicked cushions and these improve it. Build quality and durability: 8/10 The headset feels premium and well-built, especially the metal headband. There are some edges on the base station that could use more smoothing, but nothing scary sharp. The control wheel is gorgeous. The headset feels durable and is standing up very well to regular gaming use. The included ear cushions are leatherette but don't seem like they will flake anytime soon. Plus, you can buy replacement cushions, batteries, etc. at fair prices.

Unmatched Comfort, Incredible Sound – A True Top-Tier Headset
Why did you choose this product over others?: After officially play-testing the Arctis Nova Pro for over 300 hours, I can confidently say this is one of the best headsets I’ve ever used. The comfort is absolutely unmatched—thanks to the over-ear design and soft cushioning, I can wear them for long gaming sessions without any soreness or discomfort. Whether it’s a quick 30-minute play or an all-night session, these headphones stay comfortable throughout. One standout feature is the removable dual-battery system. It’s brilliantly designed—while you’re using one battery, the other charges in the base station. I’ve never run out of power mid-game, which is a huge bonus. The GG Control Panel app is another excellent addition. It integrates seamlessly with your PC and offers a wide range of sound presets tailored for different games and activities. Whether you’re trying to pick up footsteps in Call of Duty or blasting some drum and bass to unwind, this headset handles it all effortlessly. The audio versatility is incredible. Build quality is solid and premium—everything feels robust and well-engineered. I was so impressed, I even bought another set for a family member. One small tip: when powering them on for the first time, be aware of the volume restriction setting (required by EU regulations). If left enabled, it might limit your ability to fully enjoy some of the more powerful sound presets. I’m not advising whether to enable or disable it—that choice is entirely yours—but just offering honest feedback based on my experience. Overall, highly recommended. If you’re serious about sound quality, comfort, and reliability, the Arctis Nova Pro is absolutely worth it. Design: The build quality is unmatched

Great Headset with a few flaws
I've been using these for a full year now. The audio quality is great and the customisation with the SteelSeries Engine software is great (when it works). Faux surround sound is serviceable in games that can utilise it properly, but in most situations the flat EQ sounds great in loud or action heavy games. The microphone is slightly above average for a headset mic, but obviously nowhere near a dedicated microphone. The ANC is a rare sight (at least it was in 2025) for a gaming headset, and while not as powerful as high end Sony headsets, and doesn't actually deafen or seemingly affect people talking, it does reduce a lot of the low frequency background sounds like fans from the PC, washing machine in the other room, traffic outside etc. Battery Life is fantastic, and the hot swapping feature is useful if you for whatever reason can't charge on the go. Build quality for the frame itself is sturdy, it's surprisingly lightweight and overall feels good. Two main issues, both of which were probably design choices made to save money. 1. In order to charge it, you need to remove the side plate on the left side and plug it into the actual side of the earcup, so it sticks out. Every other headset, including past SteelSeries ones usually plug in on the underside. Having to remove the sideplate each time and have it awkwardly stick it looks silly, but I've ended up just permanently leaving the plate off because like everyone else I want to charge while I play when I remember. 2. The earcup cushions are that awful fake leather that starts to break away after any exposure to any amount of oil, grease, dirt or just seemingly going on a head! Same issue with the faux leather the older headsets had, nowhere as durable as the mesh fabric ones, and no idea why they've cheaped out on this awful material for such an expensive headset.

Loud buzzing if noise cancellation is on and any electronics are on.
EDIT TO ADD; Please be aware that the dock is NOTORIOUS for glitching and locking you out of chatmix. Steelseries upport will pretend to analyse the issue, requesting several files, error logs and all that, but guess what? The simplest Google search will show you that YEARS after it's release? The issue is STILL ongoing. Also, be careful with updates. Sometimes they straight up disable the poor audio :) This headset is a VERY expensive one, and I have to be very critical, because while I will be keeping it because I already had the software and such, I feel it's necessary to inform others! Sound: If you liked the Arctis 9 you'll like these, except Surround Sound is locked to the Steelseries app... So whoops, gotta set that up along with Sonar. (That requires an account btw, and the app also comes with an aim trainer, a gameplay recording feature, and a bunch of other useless things that you have better alternatives for already on hand if you have something like COD or OBS already present.) Comfort: I personally find them very comfortable, though the leather can be a bit warm after some time. The band is adjustable with buttons, and the mic retracts well. The headset is a bit heavy-ish, but the weight feels quite comfortable in my opinion. The Mic: Oh let's just skip that. There is absolutely nothing positive I can say about the mix quality. It's absurdly bad. Luckily I already had a mic and only got this headset for the dual channel capabilities that my Arctis 9 had. Keep that in mind. Dual channel/Chatmix: Do not be fooled like I was. The dual channel capabilities are purely software side and are clunkier to control because of it. This also makes it hard to adjust sound live while playing without having to pause and figure out which way does what. The dock: Well, the advertising sure fooled me, this thing is a lot larger in appearance than I anticipated. But that's fine. The battery compartment is a bit odd, as the way to lock it in is to quite literally have the battery pushed against the edge, but I figured it out in the end! I do enjoy getting to see my PC stats as I'm playing... But that also requires that over bloated app. Personally? Never again. This is my last Steelseries headset. The only reason I'm not returning it is because I don't have any other headset currently, and the sound is fine, it's just the weird hardware mess they've made. Update for 2026; None of the issues were fixed. It's still a horrendously buggy, overpriced piece of equipment that only sometimes works. I had to stick with it due to my poor Arctis Nova 9 headset finally dying, and it gave me the kick up the arse to buy a new headset. Unironically EMBARRASSING for Steel Series.

Elite sound, endless power—Nova Pro Wireless nails multi-platform gaming with premium build.
🎧 SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless – Full Review This headset is a proper flagship. Built for PC, PS5/PS4, Xbox, Switch, and mobile, it’s one of the few truly multi-platform wireless headsets with dual USB base station and simultaneous 2.4GHz + Bluetooth audio mixing. You can game and take calls at the same time—no faff, no dropouts. The Nova Pro Acoustic System uses neodymium magnetic drivers to deliver hi-res audio with pinpoint mids, crisp highs, and deep bass. Whether you're gaming, editing, or just vibing to music, the soundstage is wide and immersive. It’s backed by active noise cancellation (ANC) and transparency mode, so you can block distractions or stay aware when needed. Comfort is dialled in with the adjustable ski-goggle headband, memory foam earcups, and a build that balances metal and premium plastic. It’s heavier than budget headsets, but the fit stays solid even during long sessions. The Infinity Power System is a standout—hot-swappable dual batteries mean you never run out of juice. One charges in the base while the other powers your headset. Each battery gives around 25–30 hours of use. Mic quality is solid with the ClearCast Gen2 boom mic, which retracts cleanly and handles background noise well. The Sonar software adds full parametric EQ, spatial audio, and mic tuning—ideal for streamers or team leads. ✅ Pros Hi-res neodymium drivers—detailed, immersive sound Dual wireless modes—2.4GHz + Bluetooth with audio mixing Hot-swappable batteries—unlimited playtime ANC + transparency—adapt to any environment Multi-platform support—PC, consoles, mobile Premium comfort—adjustable headband, memory foam Sonar software—deep audio and mic customization ❌ Cons Premium price (~£299–£349) ANC struggles with low-frequency noise Controls take time to learn—non-intuitive layout Slight noise floor reported by some users 🧠 Personal Verdict This is the kind of headset that earns its price tag. The sound quality is elite, the battery system is genius, and the multi-device flexibility makes it a proper tool—not just a toy. I’ve used it for gaming, calls, and editing—never missed a beat. If you want one headset to rule them all, this is it.

Comfy gaming headset with excellent sound quality
I've owned an Arctis 7 from Steelseries for around 3-4 years but decided I'd like to upgrade due to the battery losing charge too quickly. I find the Nova Pro comfortable for long sessions, and the sound quality is superb. I mainly use them for gaming and chatting in Discord with friends, but I also listen to music quite often through them and they're great for that too. The Sonar software works fairly well and allows you to customize all sorts of settings including spacial sound, equalizers, and various context based settings depending on which program is outputting audio. I wasn't sure how much I'd like having the little DAC on my desk but its useful to see battery life at a glance and also has the killer feature (for me anyway) of being able to charge a second battery which comes with the headset. I use the active-noise cancellation all the time as my PC can sound a bit like a jet engine when the fans kick in, and so the battery drains pretty quickly. As soon as I'm down to one bar, I just swap the battery out in less than 20 seconds and I'm good to go with full power again. I'd definitely recommend this as a discord/gaming headset and I think it offers fairly good value for money, especially with the dual-battery system and active-noise cancelling tech.

Great headset. Awful software
I upgraded to this headset after having a Steelseries Arctis 7 wireless for around 5 years which I loved but was getting pretty worn out. The overall build quality of the Nova Pro is great. It is more comfortable than the Arctis 7 for me (I have a pretty big head which the Arctis 7 was slightly too small for) and the battery swap out feature is great. You can get around one day's full use out of a battery and it only takes 20 seconds to swap them out when needed. Unfortunately, my main gripe with the headset is the software (Steelseries GG/Sonar) that you need to install to make it work. It consistently has had problems ever since I started using it. When updating GPU drivers, for some reason this completely resets all sound setting settings. The biggest issue however is that the sound balance fails to work pretty much all the time despite following all trouble shooting recommendations. I can see that on various steel series forums this is not an isolated issue and that many people are having the same problems. Despite setting all the sounds settings in the correct way, it straight up does not work. The only fix I have managed to find that seems to work is completely unplugging the bluetooth dongle and plugging it back in to reset the system. This works for an hour or two before the issue arises again. Despite there being a chat/game sound balance wheel on both the headset itself and the bluetooth dongle, it does not work without the software. For what is such an expensive headset, this is incredibly disappointing. I would recommend going for a different brand, as I understand that most steelseries headsets use the same software now and are prone to experience the same problems.

Great product and customer service.
I figured it was worth leaving a review after my experience buying this headset. I’ve bought a few different SteelSeries products in the past and have always thought they were pretty good products, my last headset was a steelseries arctic 5 pubg edition so I was well overdue for a new one. I was leery on buying these just because of the price point but I can definitely say sound quality and comfortability are both great I have no issues there. The only issue I had was When I received them, only one of the batteries worked the other was completely dead.😬 However, I reached out to steelseries and explained the issue, they not only replaced the bad battery without me sending it in but they gave an additional one so I now have 3 total. You can decide for yourself but the product quality was good and the customer service was great so I’m definitely happy about my purchase.
