I have a Cosco aluminum step stool with angled pads on each leg, after years of use they started falling apart in bits and pieces, but the rest of the stool is just fine and I wanted to save it. These pads fit perfectly! My stool is saved and I’m happy. The pads are non-skid plus they protect my flooring. I highly recommend them.

Great for keeping your furniture from sliding on the floor. Using on bottom of trash cans so they won’t bang against the walls and chip the paint

These definitely keep my couches from slipping around on the hardwood and stop my bed from sliding up against the wall which causes the headboard to mark up the walls. 5-stars

TL; DR: They are made of foam, not rubber, and don't feel sticky when you take them out of the box. However, they actually stick on really well and keep things from sliding even when not used as instructed.I'm using these for something a little more unconventional. I have hanging file bins that I keep stored in my closet for all my sentimental and important documents. They get pretty heavy (though still lighter than most furniture) and cumbersome to pull out of the tight corner of my shallow closet where I have them stored.I decided to stack them on a cheap moving dolly that happens to be covered in carpet. Just one problem: Plastic does not stay put on carpet or on other plastic. They would slide around instead of rolling with the dolly. So I decided to try these sticky pads out.First impression I was convinced that they were not going to work. They were not at all what I expected. I thought they would be more like a rubber pad with adhesive on the back. Instead, these are more of a foam, like that double sided adhesive with foam in the middle that you use to stick posters on walls, except here only one side has adhesive. They did not feel grippy to the touch at all. But, they were cheap, so what the heck? I might as well try them out.Boy was I wrong. Despite my bins having raised edges for feet (the pads are only stuck on those edges and are not flush with the bottom), these guys really do their job. I have not had either bin slide off since I stuck them on, so they work great on both carpet and slick surfaces even with less weight and surface area keeping them there than they are designed for. Whole setup cost me less than $20 (dolly is from Harbor Freight) and rolls around nicely now. My back thanks you :)

I purchased the 1 1/4" square pads for a chair that lives on vinyl wood flooring. The chair kept moving around and/or slipping when I would use the chair for my newly purchased the mini-exericse bike. I read several reviews and went for it based on the reviews that claimed nothing could move with these on the legs. And they were 100000000% correct. My chair is as if it's glued in place now and to move it I'll need to pick the (light weight) chair up these things works so amazingly well. If you need something to stay put, don't think about it, just go ahead and do it, and if your's are going to be like anything like what I received, you will NOT be disappointed!!!!!!! I AM SOOOO HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE.
