We have a small farm in Hawaii. The fertilizer needs of our plants varies greatly, and even within one species, their yearly needs change. Lychee is far different than pineapple, and they are vastly different than coffee. I have a habit of ordering my N-P-K fertilizers separate, and using a 10-10-10 or 16-16-16 fertilizer as the base.
