DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY
We have went through hundreds of dollars in thermometers in my house. I have a central line and I have multiple kids who have different diseases that require constant temperature motnioring, their temperature determines the treatment they need. We have done ear ones, forehead, temporal, underarm, rectal, you name it, we tried it. Accuracy has been a huge problem for us. I can have a child who is red and sweating and different thermometers would read 96.0 and others 103.7. I could use the same thermometer and get different temps swiping left to right, than right to left. This one is consistent over 90% of the time. The disclaimer is (as written on their instructions) not always accurate when forehead is sweaty or when the thermoter doesn't have even contact when swiping (also going to fast or two slow can give wonky readings). I love that I can track temperatures to each child. Easy to do, and it's so quick I rarely don't get it done as I am swiping kids. So I can review readings without having to sort out readings. The app is easy to use and really convenient for doctor appointments. I do wish I could track it when I'm not around. For example if someone else was using it and I was at the store, it would be nice for real time updates. We like it so much, my mom bought one for her house. So she just sends me screenshots of hers when I'm not home. I'm not aware if we can combine the info into one cohesive report (that would be super cool).

Easy to use
Very easy to set-up with the app. Battery lasts, and so easy to use. Seems very accurate.

Great product but.....(Read until end)
Let's start by saying that the product itself is really good, you can tell immediately from the first moment you have it in your hands; for those addicted to the "unboxing experience", the box it comes in is very much "Apple style" so great in all sides. The product is sold in the Apple website as well which is another guarantee of quality. Easy to use and it pair with it's app immediately without problems (I am talking about iPhone 7 and 11). Now let's list the negative sides: Batteries are already placed in the device hence you better have a pair of new AAA batteries at hand as you'll need to replace them right away. The device itself is a bit bulky but this could be also a positive thing, depends from the use (definitely not a travel friendly device). The worse thing of them all which almost made me return it: you MUST create an account in the company server to be able to use it!!!!! WTH!!! Why in this world do I need to register myself to use a thermometer!?!?!?! PLEASE EXPLAIN!!!!!!!! This is just ridiculous! The app won't even open without an account! You'd get 0 stars but the device is actually good so I am being objective in my review.

No problems at all
I've been getting into tracking my and my families health as we get older. Devices from Withings/Nokia all seem to feed right into Apple Health so I've been one by one picking them up. They are all Wifi + Bluetooth enabled making for an easy setup and easy use. Easier, more reliable, and often cheaper than Fitbit devices I've used. For the Thermo, I was surprised to find it on sale a just about $60, which IMO is just right. It reads easily, accurately, and consistently each time I use it. It maybe varies ±0.1°F when taking multiple back to back readings. It's also about -0.5°F from my internal temp measured under tongue. If you know this and know how it works for you then you can trust the numbers and what they mean for you. I like how the touch area and button work for selecting the person and I like how it can sync to your account right after you make a selection, without a phone.

I loved this thermometer--for all of two weeks!
New out of the box, the thermometer worked great. Yeah, I don't like having to set up all the personal account information to get it to work, but I knew I'd have to do that based on reading the reviews. I do like that I have a history on the app in my phone of all our temperatures. However, after about two weeks it started freaking out. Just sitting on my desk it would go into SETUP mode or start displaying the website address. The app showed the battery at 100%, but eventually the batteries died from the display being on when not being used. Just as I removed the batteries, I finally saw the low battery display on the thermometer itself. The app still showed 100%. BTW, their technique of sliding the battery compartment open doesn't work for me. I replaced the batteries, reran setup and it worked for about 2-3 days before it started freaking out again. As I was writing this review, I picked it up and it went into the read mode without pushing the button, then to SETUP, where it is now stuck. No way to get it out of SETUP other than to run SETUP again or wait for it to time out. Just timed out and then went immediately back into SETUP mode. Now I got a FACTORY RESET message and then back into SETUP, where it is still stuck! No wonder the batteries lasted only two weeks! I suspect this unit has a short in the switch or circuit board somewhere. Went online to try to get some help on returning it, but the phone lines are shut down and I have yet to find a way to contact the company. Tried to set up a WITHINGS account, but the process of validating my email kicked back an error, so I can't log on. If I can get it returned and replaced, I'll update my review. Until then, I would not risk $100 on this thermometer. (The withings website shows they just dropped the price to $90.)

Definately a great investment
This is a great thermometer. I bought it as I'm a care taker for my parents. If you just need to take a temperature reading now and them, this might be overkill. However, when you need to keep track of the temperature, accurately, for a person and then show those readings to a doctor so that a determination if the a particular treatment a patient is on is working, then this becomes a very valuable tool. Now, if you have to track more than one person to show to a different doctor, this becomes indispensable. This digital thermometer allow you to create profiles for different people. Then when you take a temperature reading, you can then assign that temperature reading to a particular profile. The app has a recommendation engine as to what to do, given a particular temperature range, but I don't really use that feature as I just show the physicians I'm interfacing with the data for each person in the app. When you are a caregiver, sometimes there are a lot of measurement that need to be taken down and tracked over time manually. This thermometer removes one manual step, in a whole series of reading that need to be done, in order to make the day go more smoothly. If you need to track the temperature of children, parents, or anyone that you are a care giver for, this is a great tool to have in your tool bag.

More accurate than an oral thermometer, takes almost no time
I started taking daily readings with a digital oral thermometer back during Covid. What a pain! Beep, beep, beep, hold still, oh wait start over, beep, beep, beep, beeeepppp! OK. Then manually enter the number in health app. I had no idea how much IR health thermometers had advanced. I have an IR gun for general measurements, e.g. temperature of building materials, etc. and I know there's not very accurate. For cooking, I use accurate thermometers including a ribbon probe for pan temperature, so I'm a bit of a thermometer geek. So, I scoff when I see somebody using an IR thermometer to measure a pan! Well, that drugstore digital oral thermometer was 1.5-2F low. I used to always make jokes with doctors when they take my temperature, saying "I'm a dinosaur", but then they would read 98.6 instead of 96.something, and I'd be like, "must have been the run from the car". This thermometer is accurate, and corresponds to doctors readings. My health app tells me I've had a sudden change in temperature trend lol. To use, it's a 2-second swipe across your forehead. That's it. You do swipe back and forth, rather than just aim. (Makes me a bit skeptical about the ones doctors and other were using to screen for admittance during Covid...) It's very clear when the thermometer has "gotten it", and it's immediately reflected in health app. Apparently this swiping past an important artery is a key part of the thermometer's accuracy. One thing that's not completely clear is the need to scroll down on thermometer display and select a person and tap the button - even if only one person configured.

Would buy again, no hesitation.
Always been a fan of these products. Easy to use, and informative. This is a HUGE improvement over the older version of thermometer. Much more functionality.

Fantastic piece of kit for those who love a gadget
This clever 4-in-1 health provides a thermometer, an ECG, an oximeter and a stethoscope. You will need to invest some time in reading the instructions and exploring the app. All the data transfers to the Health Mate app via Wi-Fi where it is stored although you can see the readings on the device but to check for trends and history you do need the app which is free to download. It does try and get you to upgrade to the paid subscription but the functions on this device will sync with the free app. You also cannot have the cardiac results sent to a doctor as advertised with the free version of the app, at least not that I have found. The unit is quite compactly sized with a colour display and simple navigation buttons. You can create and store eight profiles. The readings on each setting seems accurate enough and I have no reason to disbelieve it when it tells me so far I have not experienced any worryingly high temperatures. I have to trust it when it tells me I don’t have any signs of Atrial Fibrilliation either. All in all this mostly delivers what it promises however given the quite substantial price tag I would question how often it would be used in a domestic setting of a mostly healthy family. If you're only going to reach for it to check temperatures, this is an expensive bit of kit just for that purpose. However if you or your family members do have lung conditions such as asthma or COPD and need to check pulse oxygen levels for your own piece of mind this could be useful and save you a trip to the hospital or the GP. Maybe you also have health anxieties that the ECG function may allay. Otherwise I'm a bit confused as to who the target market is?
