I made a marvelous decision in purchasing this brush because it was exceptional; it was everything that was advertised and then some. I was not sure if I would have bought a beard brush because my beard is not very thick. Now that I bought it, I found it very helpful in just straightening some hairs and directing them toward certain areas of your face. It made my beard appear much more full, so I definitely suggest buying a beard brush for those people whose facial hair is let's say "challenged," and this would most certainly be the one to go with. Not only does it help cover patchy areas, but it also makes the beard just look better. You style the hair on your head using brush/comb, so why wouldn't you use a brush for your beard? Using your hands are great, at first. I mean, once your hair grows, it takes a life of it is own and grows in all weird and different directions. So, your hands can only get you so far; you are probably figuring this out which is why you are here. What was once just a silly No-Shave November beard proposal, turned into a beard that I am very happy with. I do not think I could say that if it was not for this brush. At first, this brush was rough on my face (I still have soft skin), but over time I got used to it, and now I like the feeling. I found myself brushing my beard whenever I could like when I am watching tv just because it became fun. I did not see any hair falling off from the brush like some of the others are saying. I suggest buying some oil and/or wax for your beard because well, you probably use some sort of product in you​r hair so use some in your beard too. This brush does a great job in distributing the oil and wax through your beard. Well, I hope this helps some hesitant buyers out there on their decision. Well, have a good one!

Great boar brush, bought in 2017 still use to this day. If I ever need anything else I know where to find it

I purchased this brush and comb set on December 22nd, 2018 because on December 20th, 2018 I decided to cut my hair after 15 years. I got bored with wearing a ponytail and wanted to go back to my short hair style like I had when I was younger. Product review: I use the brush to brush my now short hair and the brush with its soft bristles do a fantastic job on my hair. I even used the brush a couple of times on my goatee and it works great on my facial hair also. I grew out my goatee and the comb in this set does a wonderful job at combing through my beard with or without beard oil. Conclusion: I would have been 100% happy with just having the brush and nothing else at the price point that this set is selling for but to get a 100% natural boar bristle brush and an real wood beard comb for under $13 (with free shipping for Prime members like myself) is a fantastic deal. I liked this brush so much that one day after using it my wife told me she was going to a beauty supply store and usually I would just say ok see you later but I decided to go with her because I wanted another 100% natural boar bristle brush that I could carry around with me, leave in the car, etc because I'm not going to let anything happen to my brush and comb combo because I wasn't expecting the set to be so nice. So I found a 100% natural boar bristle brush at the beauty supply store made of wood in a camouflage color that I take with me when I leave the house. If you have short hair and need a soft brush like to brush your hair or if you need a brush to tame those beard whiskers and a beard comb to tame those longer beard hairs then you cannot beat the price and quality of this set.

This brush feels good and does a nice job on my beard, feels good. The comb is of no use whatsoever, much too fat and doesn't comb; looks nice but useless.

It's a fine brush. I'd like to address some common 1-star complaints I'm seeing. Complaint 1) Bristles fall out. This is the case for every brush I've had with boar bristles, or other animal hair. It may be true that a few bristles fall out during the first weeks of using this, but it's not like the brush is going bald. The way animal hair is integrated into a brush is different from the way synthetics are. Bristles are going to fall out initially. It happens. Complaint 2) The brush has a bad smell. My experience with the brush is that it has a gentle pork smell while dry (almost imperceptible), which is easily masked after brushing some oil or balm through my beard. When damp, such as after shampooing it to clean it, it takes on a stronger pork smell. You might find this shocking, but boar hair smells like pork! Again, every boar bristle brush I've had has also smelled like pork while damp. It's an expected experience with boar bristles. Anyhow, like I said before, it's a fine brush. It does everything it's advertised to do, which is all I ask of the products I buy. I was skeptical of how it would effect my beard compared to combing it, and I was surprised to find out that using this brush make my beard look noticeably better, with less rogue hairs. The biggest benefit to me is that brushing my beard and mustache every morning has eliminated the beard dandruff I frequently had prior to using this. I'm not certain whether or not other brands of beard brushes can do the same job, but this is the one I bought, so I'll give this one credit for the positive experience I've had with it. PS. It works well on eyebrows, too. It pulls flakes right out of them that you didn't even know about.

I don't typically review a lot of products I buy, but this one warrants it. Let's start with the comb. Made of what looks like a single piece of wood, this comb is sturdy. It fits well in my hand and combs hair and beard quite well. No more plastic combs! It's a bit harder to comb my mustache with it because of the shape, but that would be my only complaint. I can still comb my mustache with this comb, though. It's so comfortable to use, I'll find myself combing my beard absent-mindedly while watching a show or sitting on my porch. I've never had that with any other comb I've owned. The brush is smaller than I expected, but now that it's here, I like it's size better than a larger one. It just feels good in the hand, and it's size makes it easy to brush my mustache as well. It works wonders on my beard, spreading my all-natural oils around like a champ. The brush feels amazing on my skin, but can get a little rough if I brush too much. I usually only use the brush right after my morning shower and right before bed because of that. The boar bristles are attached to the wooden handle quite well, although do expect to lose some for the first couple of weeks. Every boar bristle brush I've had has done that, and I've owned quite a few. Overall, it's probably the best beard brush I've ever owned, and that's saying something. As nice as each item is individually, it's the effect of both of them that have been really impressive. My beard hair is quite curly, and I have to work hard to try to get it straight and detangled. Using this brush and comb for only a couple of days, my beard is straighter and fuller looking than I've seen it in a long time. My wife thought it grew an inch overnight. It has really worked wonders on a very hard to handle beard. My mustache is equally difficult, with a lot of mustache waxes not able to tame the stragglers. This brush has helped with that immensely, though I'm sad to say they still continue their disobedient ways. However, I have tried a lot of combs and brushes on this mustache, and none have come as close as this set has to putting the stragglers in line. Overall, I would say buy this. It's small and compact, so it travels great. It works amazingly well. It's well constructed. I would've gladly paid double for this set. Why are you still here? Buy this set already!

Appears and feels made of good quality it's comfortable.

It's a good product for the money.

A very nice set. Have been using them both for a while now. The bristles are tough enough to scrub a little if needed or soft enough to just brush your beard. Comfortable in the hand. The boar hair bristles shed a bit before first use but have not shed any since that initial time. I'm very happy with them both.

Zero issues on the product. I love it and my brother loves it. It’s a great gift for those that love facial hair.

The set grooms and shapes my beard perfectly.

Brush is perfect. Feels soft to the touch but is perfectly firm for beard. I was looking everywhere for this exact type and the price is great. The comb absolutely sucks. Small teeth are unfinished and don’t pick up anything. Big side is useless as they are too spaced out. The slant in the wood is at a bad angle making it hard to use. Tried it on my actual head hair and still same issues apply. It’s in the garbage now.

Awesome got the comb and brush works great 10/10 would buy again.
