Great detector for civil wsr artifacts too!
Still learning to use but it is amazingly accurate! Very good detector!

Seems to be a well built unit, but some seller issues..
The detector arrived promptly. The packaging was an outer shipping box, with another sealed box inside. The interior box had shipping labels tho Zentra LLC in California. All seemed fine as I unpacked the detector until I tried to remove the battery covers. It was very difficult to remove the battery covers, and once I did, there was the hiss of escaping gas. When I took out the battery holders, I found the batteries were covered in corrosion. When I removed the corroded batteries, one of the plastic battery holders broke. After searching through Amazon to try and figure out the shipper, I emailed Zentra, but they still haven’t responded. Since the package has an additional set of batteries, I was able to power it up and give it a try. This package is not something a beginner detectorist would want. I’m excited to learn how to use this to find deep/small targets, but disappointed with the issues right out of the box. Hopefully Zentra will respond so I can update this review

It’s expensive but worth the price
This detector is so easy to use. I have quadrupled to amount of relics and coins I find. I took it to the Bahamas last month and the beaches are loaded with treasures, I think the detector helped. This will pay for itself in no time. You do have to lift weights before you start using this because it is quite heavy.

Rugged, waterproof.
The manufacturer was apparently in a hurry to bring the new closed DD coil to market. They did not re-design the soft case to accommodate the new coil and failed to relocate the rechargeable batteries and their clips to avoid damage during shipping. This unit is a techie's marvel Great design!

Poor quality battery holder + no rechargeable batteries included
It was a first disappointment not to receive everything that is supposed to come in the package. There were no rechargeable batteries included, only the charger. One of the battery holders popped (broke) on the first time I was installing the set of rechargeable batteries I had to buy at a local store (photos) ... I dont believe I was doing it wrong, but if I was it shows that it is constructed very poorly and is extremely fragile (not rugged and military grade as advertised). I wrote emails to the only contact available but I have no reply yet.
