YETI Rambler MagSlider Lid

These are the best lids! I have several cups. I wish these lids came standard on them. They are the easiest to clean because you just pop the slide off and clean underneath. Also they fit tighter than the ones that snap in and the relief hole that provides flow works better.

I have a mk4 VW Golf and was constantly having issues spilling tea on my center console and radio when trying to put the cup into the cup holder. Those who have these cars will likely know exactly what I mean! I never thought I would ever own a Yeti product, as I have picked their mugs up in the store and they felt to me as overpriced imported stainless mugs with a trendy name on them. I have a few 20 oz. tumblers which have the same lid diameter as the Yeti, and I was looking at some of the aftermarket Yeti lids to provide better spill resistance than the original lids. In the search I found this one, which costs slightly more than the 2-packs of non-Yeti lids out there. I like the concept and decided to give it a try, even though the lid costs $4 more than the entire Harbor Freight mug I use it with. This lid is NOT leak proof, nor did I expect it to be, but when I finally get the spring loaded cup holder on my car open and the cup suddenly slams down onto its lower brace, this lid effectively prevents the tea eruptions which plagued the original lids (as long as I remember to close the slider!) Now I would like to praise the action of the magnetic sliding cover. The cover is incredibly well designed. It is bi-directional, by which I mean that you can install it in either orientation after cleaning and the holes all line up. The sliding action is absolutely excellent, with the magnetic detents providing excellent tactile feedback. The slider always moves easily and has never become gummed up with dried beverage like some others I have used. I have found it easiest to remove for cleaning by starting with the lid in the open position, inserting my index finger in the drink hole and pinching the slider against my index finger with my thumb while pulling upwards to break it free from the magnetic field. The entire surface of both the slider and lid are then easily accessed for thorough cleaning, and all you need to do is get the slider close to the lid again and it will snap back into the correct position. This is a great innovation by Yeti. They didn't invent the vacuum insulated mug, and their implementation of the mug is really nothing special in my opinion. They DID however reinvent the simple spill resistant lid, and did so in such great fashion that when I left my mug on the roof of my car and dumped it in the middle of the road, not only did I spend a good 10 minutes shining a flashlight around a busy intersection to make an unfruitful attempt to locate the lid, I also ordered another immediately after giving up on the search. To reiterate, I highly recommend this product and can now be legitimately considered a return customer. I will probably buy a few for some of my family members and friends this Christmas as well.

The YETI MagSlider lid is exactly what you’d expect from YETI—solid, well-built, and reliable. It fits perfectly, seals well, and the magnetic slider is smooth and easy to remove for cleaning. I like that it helps prevent splashes without being hard to use. Keeps drinks hot or cold just like it should and feels durable enough to last a long time. Definitely worth it if you use your YETI daily.

These are great lids that fit a couple insulated coffee mugs that my husband uses all the time. The lids that came on his mugs were not dishwasher safe and the little slider pieces broke. The piece that closes the opening on the Yeti is magnetic plus it is dishwasher safe. They have been in the dishwasher many times and still look new…therefore, they are worth every penny.

This cap fits my 20 ounce tumbler (not made by Yeti) perfectly. It won't pop out without a powerful disturbance so if the tumbler gets knocked over it probably will not spill because the cap will stay in place. This cap has high quality magnets that hold the slider quite well. The cap itself is made from thick plastic that will probably last for years. I'm going to toss all of my other caps and use only this one. These are a bit pricey but definitely worth the money.

This Yeti lid is perfect — fits like a glove and looks so clean and new that my husband didn’t even want to use it at first! Exactly as described, no leaks, and snaps on securely. Great quality and definitely worth it!

I ordered a NEW Rambler MagSlider Lid to replace my old one but the product was obviously opened before I received it. It was repackaged with packing tape over the original packaging. I probably should have taken video before opening but it looked and smelled clean/unused (as if the product weren't the right size for previous buyer maybe?) so I decided to keep it since it fits my Rambler mug. It fits my other mug that's similar (as seen in photo) so that's a plus. It's not leakproof, but I purchased for coffee too stay hot so that's not an issue for me. The seal is made super well. It's not hard to remove but I definitely needed to hold the mug in place to avoid a mess with liquid in it. The only reason for 4 🌟 was due to the previously opened package for me. Other than that, it's a 5 🌟 product

Matched the original YETI cover. Same quality, size etc. Carefully ensure the size you're ordering is for the tumbler you own. I bought the medium for a Member's Mark tumbler and it worked well.

love it, got a big yeti cup in USA but lid was damaged and was able to get a lid here no probs great fit, good value

Good lid, fits well. It's a little pricey but to be expected I suppose.

Lid does not fit my yeti cup even though the add said it suits mine. Different style of lid as well, hard to tell from ad pictures. Do not recommend!
